Honestly, you could walk in the door and throw a dart at the menu and hit a winner! You can’t go wrong. I’ve been dining at Cocina Michoacana for 23 years and I’ve ordered just about everything there is on the menu. It's all authentic and absolutely delicious. The service is friendly and courteous, too! Try the Creamy Garlic soup or La Compuesta with chicken, pork or beef! Their Chimichangas are killer, too! Family friendly, fresh Mexican food and cold Modelo! Viva la Cotija!

Wandered in while walking the small main street and the aromas were amazing! Great service, chips and salsa fresh, plates heaping and Delicious. My personal gauge of a Mexican Restaurant is the Chile Verde. Tender, flavorful, and portions perfect.The decor is nice but could use an updating near the kitchen, that's our only ding.

We ordered pick up for a cozy evening in after a long day of sight seeing. The staff was very friendly, and the food was good. The carne asada, and the nachos were our favorites, I personally think you can skip the churros.

SO happy with this stop outside of Yosemite. Internet was down but they accepted Venmo, PayPal, and cash so we were able to pay with no problem. My daughter and I split enchiladas verdes, chile rellano, and shrimp/grilled fish tacos and everything was bombastic!
