Modern upscale lodge style with high ceilings (and prices to match) but the environment is a bit sterile.

Food was meh. Philly cheese steak was dry and lacked flavor, not juicy and cheesy like you would expect.

Beer selection was pretty good and we tried a few different varieties. All good but a little pricey.

We stopped in here to watch the US vs Australia World Cup match on our way to Yosemite and it was a big disappointment.

It looks like a sports bar but sure doesn’t sound like one as they refused to turn on the sound for the match, even though several patrons kept pleading with staff to do so. Some asked to speak to a manager but the manager never appeared. Staff simply kept saying they were not allowed to turn on the sound.

Everyone was there to watch the match, so it was puzzling why management would not want to accommodate the crowd. Really bizarre.

If you’re looking for a place to watch the World Cup near Yosemite stay away from this place unless you don’t mind watching in silence (and without subtitles).

Our experience at Rush Creek Lodge was truly phenomenal. Both my wife and I work in hospitality, so we recognize what great service looks like—and Rush Creek absolutely delivers. The team clearly loves what they do, and it shows in every interaction across the resort. This was our family’s first visit to Yosemite, and the resort felt like a true haven for both our son and us. There were so many thoughtful touches—from daily activities to easy access to beautiful trails. Our son especially loved the programming, from bingo to making clay animal handprints, and it was amazing to see how much he learned and enjoyed himself. The spa experience was a highlight. Alyssa provided the best facial I’ve ever had—her warmth, expertise, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. The spa facilities themselves were also fantastic and added to the overall sense of relaxation. The food was excellent, and we loved starting our mornings with coffee and fresh bakery items from the gift shop (which also had great finds for friends and family). Another standout was Mary Jane from the room service team—her service was best-in-class, always thoughtful, with extra touches like additional towels and personalized notes that made a real difference. We also appreciated the welcome gift for our son—it was such a meaningful and memorable touch. Rush Creek Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. We can’t wait to return.

Food and interior as well as views are all great, although service is quite slow. Big portions.

Our experience was very nice however the food quality was quite below the level I would have expected. Chicken wings had very little seasoning and sauce and the two larger wings in the order were raw and cool in Temp.🤮. Our main meal was ok just ok. Presentation was poor and flavor was just average. The food just needed a little bit more attention to flavor, seasoning and presentation. The food quality seemed good and fresh. The restaurant was empty other than another family of four so I don't understand the issue. Employee's were very friendly and attentive. The interior was beautifuly rustic and spotless. Pricing was fair and portions were good to above average. I don't think I'll be back to the restaurant until I've heard some changes have been made.

All 3 nights we had issues with our meals. The first night the chicken on a salad wasn't cooked fully and had to be sent back. The second night we were given a moldy gluten free bun. The 3rd night one of our entrees was 15 minutes after everyone else's food and it had the incorrect side. The servers were nice but the food quality was really disappointing.

Cool ambiance. Most of all though, the Cioppino was amazing. The broth was better than any place in San Francisco including Sotto Mare. Definitely get that.

The food is delicious no matter what restaurant you eat in. Very tasty and well prepared. There were a lot of kids here this weekend and parents not managing them. I like kids, but not when parents let them run all over the place and scream. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous, the mountains, the pine trees, and the fall colors were amazing. Access to the park was within five minutes of driving so it was a great location.

Great facility, portions are large. Steak frites was very good tho steak was more medium than the medium-rare I ordered. Frites were excellent. The bison and pork pasta dish was very good but way more than my wife could eat-a smaller portion option would be appreciated. Service was very good, prices a bit high but given the location expected.

Patrick is an amazing service person cuz he does it all. Also shout out to Aubrey. At This Lodge always eat at the tavern. Much more fun. Great menu and alcohol list. Love it!

For being so slow and having so many employees on, the service sucked. The poor bartender the only one actually working. Bummed to spend that much in such a beautiful place and receive little to no service.

Food was fine, but nothing I’d rate higher than “good.” It’s also a pretty room in a good location, which has led us to stop here a few times. Service on our last visit was atrocious, however. Our server (Dafinaa?) was totally indifferent to our table. Had trouble with our order. Wouldn’t split the check. Worse, we just could not get a refill on our drinks and our kids had to go to the bar just to get more lemonade — then even at the bar they first ignored our kids, and then me until I found a manager to step in. Really horrific as even our own waitress just stared at me when she came to the bar and ignored me when I said “excuse me,” although I can’t imagine how she noticed the empty cup.

Upside is I didn’t have to pay for more drinks since she never came back to take an order for another round.
