Doughboys Pizzeria and Gluten Free

Ordered a weekday afternoon delivery. Overall Excellent! Mama got a small combo pizza with the pan crust and 6 wings. The wings were huge and perfectly cooked. The pizza was lightly topped but the crust was superb! Papa got a small pan and the meatball side. We shared a mac & cheese. Papa's pizza was sausage and garlic, but the garlic was so finely chopped and dispersed I couldn't taste it. Great meatballs! Very firm, not fluffy. Sauce was okay. The mac & cheese was nothing particularly special, other than it's a huge serving!

We will definitely be getting Doughboy's again soon, I want to try the lasagna!

Dough is the best thing here. Impeccable. Pizza sauce taste canned. Ranch is watery and not very good.Knocked off a star because the owner put my ranch in with my piping hot pizza. Cardinal sin. Good thing I swiped it out before it became lukewarm.I wish I had that guy's dough recipe though. I'd consider going back just for it.

I had an amazing Meat Lovers pizza here and OMG SO GOOD! The crust options are awesome too. It's like the only place in town that makes legit Gluten free stuff for celiacs. Seriously try it out I love it.

I bought the meat lovers pizza and it came with only burned pepperoni the worst pizza ever. Save your money and go somewhere else or buy a frozen pizza from the supermarket much better than this

Doughboy's is a long time favorite here on the Central Coast! They were pioneers of gluten free pizza, setting the bar high for others to "try" and imitate. They also have vegan cheese for all the vegans as well as for those who have lactose sensitivity like my youngest Daughter (a life saver let me tell ya!!! Haha)Their pizza crust has just the right amount of fluff while holding onto a perfect hardiness. Sauce, cheese and toppings finish off the pie just how it needs to be, delicious!They also have an assortment of appetizers, pastas and other eats that are also top notch....OMG, the lasagna is AMAZING!! Definitely one of our favorites!The crew are always friendly and on it and the atmosphere is chill, they are set up for takeout or delivery.

Dietary restrictions: Their vegan cheese is great if you're lactose sensitive, but if you have a higher level of sensitivity, you probably still want to be care, avoid or take a lactose pill. They are great about warning you that the dough is made with milk, but for my Daughter it's not enough to give her trouble, just depends on your sensitivity level.Also, I'm not into the gluten free lifestyle, but friends I know who are, absolutely rave about their gluten free pizza, apparently it's the best ever! Sometimes they run out so try to get it early, they are very strict about the processing of it so limited quantities might be available depending on the demand.

Doughboys is in my top 3 pizzerias on the Central Coast. It took me a while to appreciate it. The first few times I liked it but didn't love it. The game changer for me was trying their XL sized pizza (I love the crust flavor and ratio on that one!) and the Chicago style pizza. The online ordering system is the best pizzeria ordering system in the area (similar to Dominoes, which was developed by a major corporation). The staff are always friendly. We go here a lot!

Ordered and tried to pick up in 2 hours, they say they “threw away” my pizza cuz I arrived too late. They also said they contacted me “multiple times” but I never received any phone call from them at all. Finally the owner suggested us to contact the online booking App to get the refund, but when we did so after get home they rejected the refund request. Shame on this liar!
