This is always my go to sushi spot! The food is always amazing! Though I occasionally try other options on their menu, my favorites are the Diablo Canyon Roll, Crispy Spicy Tuna, Hot Aki, Sashimi Salad, and the Cherry Blossom Roll. Even their side salads, while simple, have touches of fresh, local fruit, and the best miso dressing that i have ever had. Really, everything I've had over the years shows their dedication to providing the freshest and best tasting food around....
Absolutely loved my experience at Umi Sushi in Grover Beach! The food was outstanding—each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried a variety of rolls, and every single one was a delight.

As we are from the Seattle Tacoma area have many sushi places. Umi was recommended by a bartender in Pismo and he was spot on. Only been for lunch but the quality is great and as mentioned by others fresh!
