This is the Deli we've needed in the 5-Cities for years and years! Killer quality that cannot be found in the corporate sandwich shops. Much better turkey sandwich than any local restaurant.

I wish I could give this sandwich shop 6, 7, or even 10 stars. The quality of the sandwiches is the best in all of San Luis Obispo. I've been to almost every sandwich shop in SLO and I guarantee you won't find a better sandwich anywhere else than at Surfside Deli. I cannot stop recommending this place to all my friends and family, anything you order here is the perfect version of that sandwich.
We purposely looked for this deli because of its ratings and we are so glad that we did. It is behind-below the main shopping center across from Von’s. We had the CaliPhilly which was delicious. I switched the French roll to sour dough. Lots of meat and melted cheese with green chili and sautéed onion ?. A chocolate cookie ? and a pickle we’re added to just give you all the flavors. Yummy ?

This place is okay. The veggies and meat are decent but in my opinion the bread they use is awful. If the bread was higher quality the sandwiches would elevated for sure. The owner is very friendly so it’s a bummer to write a less than stellar review. If the bread is improved then I feelLike the quality of food will be better.

Tried this place out for the first time and was not disappointed. The sandwich I ordered was meaty, the cheese flavorful and it was full of fresh, crisp vegetables. Just the right amount of condiments and bread that was soft and also fresh tasting. I'm always looking for a great sandwich and I have found it here. The homemade cookie was a delicious and delightful surprise. I will be back.

Glad to find a deli close to where I live that makes a wonderful sandwich. I chose a build your own, got a turkey on a Dutch Crunch roll with provolone, picked veggies and condiments. For me well worth the price of admission. I would go back again and tell a friend. It was a nice experience it came with a pickle on the side with pepperoncini and a baked cookie. A cookie folks!
