The food is amazing, carne asada is their own unique recipe, as is the carnitas. I had a carne asada burrito and my husband had carnitas nachos. I will send m,ore pictures next time. There were 5 others getting food and it was a very small wait. They have a short menu , all the food is to go and if you need a cerveza/beer check out Gil's Mrkt They are located in the parking lot at Gil's Gas & liquor store.

Sure it's a little pricey for about $17 but you're getting quality food. There's a lot of tender birria beef in these bad boy tacos. The tortillas are handmade (or at least appears to be in my eyes). I think they moved a couple blocks from when I last visited here a couple years ago. The best part is that their consome is unique. They have bits of beef and rice in the consome soup. It exudes heartiness and warmth. I guess that is why we came back here years later.

Ordered at 730pm close to closing. Ordered birria tacos with side of rice and beans. When I picked it up what I received was a beef taco combo plate. Which was fine even if I didn't order it. However the tacos were so soggy. Taco tortillas fell apart immediately. Terrible execution there. Meat did taste good though. Service wasn't special. Won't go back

Great taco truck located in Gil's Liquor Store parking lot on the corner of Grand. Easy ordering with online service and a text message to confirm your order was received and pick up time. I tried the taco plate with chicken and it was excellent, good flavor, and lots of meat in the tacos Overall great quick pick up for lunch or dinner. A+

The best taqueria on the Central Coast! I’ve tried most items on their menu, but their carne asada burrito is amazing. We have also recently used Taqueria El Guero’s taco platter catering option for a party which was a big hit. Not only was the food excellent, but the customer service and delivery far exceeded our expectations.
By far the best tacos around! I drive almost an hour for their food because they are they are that good! Not only is the food delicious but the customer service is amazing! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ordered a vegetarian taco from here (advertised as: Vegetarian - Beans, Cheese, Lettuce,Onion, Cilantro, Avocado, Salsa) Mine came with beans, rice, and lettuce/cilantro. Ignoring the fact that I did not want rice, not a big deal, my taco did not include avocado which would be the "protein" of this taco.. I got this taco at the end of my day and did not have the time (before they closed) to call and tell them about their mistake for a credit or refund. So..I called them the next morning when they opened and they have refused to do anything for me because I did not "call the day it happened" but the next day. i even called a second time to make sure it was the manager I spoke with and see if they really wouldn't do anything to fix their mistake, I paid for something and did not receive what I paid for..... and they really will do nothing to fix their mistake. I am disgusted at this behavior, and trust me.. I would call my bank for a refund but unfortunately I paid them in cash so they just screwed me over with no remorse. That is not a company I would want myself or anyone I love to contribute money to. Life is hard enough without businesses like this stealing from hardworking people. Shame on you.
