We got takeout twice from this place on a recent trip. The food is that good. I was very pleasantly surprised. The people are very nice. they got our orders right and on time. Portions are huge and they have options for vegans/vegetarians, which I very much appreciate!
Don't ask me. I hate Thai food. Only went because wife dragged me
Anchor Bay Thai Kitchen is a hidden weapon tucked away on the Northern California coast. You wouldn’t expect world-class Thai food out here, but they’re absolutely throwing down in that little kitchen. Every dish tasted fresh, vibrant, and full of real depth — like somebody’s grandma back in Thailand whispered secrets into the wok. The curry was rich and spicy without being overpowering, and the Pad Thai had that perfect balance of sweet, savory, and smoky. Staff was friendly in that low-key, genuine way you only find in small towns. Whether you’re a local or just rolling through Highway 1, this place is a mandatory stop. Five stars, easy.
We ordered the Crispy Tofu, Pad Thai with Chicken and the Duck Curry. The food was great but the Duck Curry was my favorite. The restaurant was beautiful inside and the service was great!
The curry and fried rice were really good. We were skeptical given the difficulty of finding good food in the area, but it was really good Thai food! And takeout was ready in 20 minutes. Highly recommend.
Lovely little spot! We really enjoyed the green curry that had lots of veggies and the shrimp rolls! Great food!
Great value, try spring rolls.
Came in sat down, we were happy not to crowded waiting for our water till 2 other families came in and they got there water, but finally we had our order taken all was good.
I normally do takeout. Always great. Wish the massaman curry would return.
Always great food and atmosphere

Long wait. Orange chicken over cooked. Spring rolls pre packaged. S&S seafood fair. Brown rice dry. Big disappointment over last time..

Great food! We order takeout and are so happy to have choices other than Mexican in our small community!
We had the fried shrimps rolls, vegetarian fried rolls and Thai style chow mei with duck. All delicious. The staff is also very nice. The place is well decorated.
The only negative point is that they add $2.79 service fee to my check with no explanation. Why is that? I'm totally against this practice. I'd have no issue if all my dishes were just a little more expensive.

Menu says "vegan options available" and staff is helpful in identifying what can work. We had the Thai style chow mein made vegan and the garlic stir fry with tofu. Chow mein was so flavorful and delicious!
