“So there are not a lot of options in Gualala, but this was the top of the list. The menu looked really good and we were not disappointed at all. Had the local rockfish fish and chips with a bowl of chowder for two of us, and it was plenty of food, and by the way, the french fries are just outstanding. I know it's a little thing, but they have Coke products which is important to me. The two women working were just fantastic, friendly, very helpful. No pressure at all. Lots of outside seating since we have the dog it was much appreciated, but there was plenty of indoor seating if the weather is bad. If you're in town, eat here. Five stars.”
“We had the cashew prawns and pumpkin curry with chanterelle mushrooms. Both items were on the special board, so delicious. For the quality of food and portion size, it is very reasonable.Forgot how great this restaurant is.”
“We were looking for tacos and this popped up in search. We ordered fish, chicken, and beef tacos. It was taco Tuesday, but we ordered from the menu because the waitress suggested the special tacos were small. We were surprised the tacos we received were small street tacos. They were very tasty. The cell service is terrible, but when we viewed reviews later we saw the special tacos were not smaller, they just had fried shells. We're glad we stopped, but next time we'll get the special.”
“Very nice clean place. Food was very tasty, lots of choices. Would highly recommend.Vegetarian options: This restaurant is situated in a small town on route 1 by the coast. You can't go bad. Lots of choices for pies and cakes and breakfast. Lunch and dinner. Will definitely go back again.”
“Our party of six showed up without a reservation in the middle of their busy time. There was a table of 18 hungry basketball players already seated! And most of the other tables were taken. The staff hustled to get us a table and served us promptly. Everything went great!Good people.Dietary restrictions: My mother-in-law is lactose intolerant and only eats gluten-free. They were able to put together a good dish that worked for her.”
“Yummy Mexican food within walking distance of Gualala hotels. I usually get the 3 item variety plate. My hubby gets the fajitas, and kids like burritos and guacamole. Service can be slow at times but nothing out of the ordinary when you're on "coast time."”
“During the last big storm on Sunday 2-5-24 this was the only restaurant that I saw open during the power outage. The gentlemen and the employees in general were amazing and kept their cool in what could only be considered a deluge of customers. There was a real since of community and coming together that warmed my heart. The food was great. Especially considering the chaos.”
“My family loved the pizza! We ordered chicken wings and the combo pizza then loved sit so much, that we took more to go! The service was outstanding! The young lady that took our order was so sweet and helpful! We were even greeted by the lady and gentleman that were busy making the pizzas! It’s rare to find such great customer service. Thank YOU! We will be coming again!”
“It's a small restaurant we found on highway one. What a great find it was. The service was great and food was delicious and serving size pretty large. We were happy to get so many vegetarian options middle of nowhere. We would not have found it if not for Google maps. The view from the restaurant of the ocean is great too. I would highly recommend it.”
“This place was amazing. The food was INCREDIBLE, the service was awesome. The only negative was that they didn't have a cocktail menu, so if you only drink on special occasions, it might be a little tricky to pick a drink, but our waiter (shout out to Rusty!) was very sweet and patient and we were able to get what felt like fancy drinks ordered. 10/10.”
“We didnt know what to expect, as we walked in, a movie showing for a wine maker was just starting and we are not wine drinking folk. We watched the 1:20 movie and it showed that the owners are very intentional. The items offered on the menu suit a small kitchen that is sourcing good ingredients. Warm sausage plate and a perfectly cooked lamb loin chop special (as the only seasonally available entre item) were abeautifully cooked medium rare. Locally produced beers were also available, and delicious.”
“Very good, as in the best, sandwiches, calzones, pizzas, pastries and fresh baked bread. Locally owned, friendly and a fun general store to shop in while you wait. It’s a Sonoma County gem.”
