We have never been to this area before and didn't know of any restaurants. Thank God my daughter found this restaurant on Google. This is a truly five star. The menu has unique ingredients so perfectly combined and designed. The taste of the 4 different dishes we got were truly unique. Ingredients were super fresh. We loved it. Service was very nice, no throwing the plates or silverware. They were placed in the right place. Thank you Boon for a truly nice experience. Was it cheap? No, but good food comes with a price that I am willing to pay. Congrats to the owner and chef Crista Luedtke

Great food and excellent service. Everything on the menu sounded so good we ended up ordering almost everything . LOL

Fantastic service, quick and thoughtful. We were seated in a small room accessible from the outside and separate from the main restaurant. There was no wait time at all, as the restaurant is only first come, first serve, at about 6pm on a Wednesday. No reservations are available. The food was excellent! My oldest son had the Mac and cheese and was not disappointed. The rest of us opted for the steak, medium rare. It was delicious! I loved the cream sauce and remoulade on all of the steak, fingerling potatoes and broccolini. Nice bottle of Pinot Noir split between my husband and I. My oldest son enjoyed the brownie for dessert, split with my husband, warm and soft, with a nice sea salt crunch. Definitely a must try in Guerneville! Come early!

Absolutely loved Boon Eat + Drink! My best friend and I came here for dinner to celebrate ten years of friendship, and it was a wonderful experience. We had the mac and cheese and brussels sprouts at the recommendation of our waitress, and they were fabulous. Don't miss out - definitely stop by Boon Eat + Drink!

Great vegetarian and vegan meal on a lovely Wednesday evening after a cocktail next door at El Barrio (great drinks).

The brussel sprouts here weren't bad, but everything else on the menu was pretty dang pricy. It's in a small little town in the Sonoma area, so not sure how people come here.

We ate here this evening because we are staying at the Boon Hotel and Spa. We LOVE our hotel, however the service by our server was awful. She did not introduce herself, she came by once to ask about our meal and seemed quite uninterested in our dining experience. We wondered if it was because the 20% gratuity was already included? Truly we would not have given much (if any) of a tip. We had to ask others for refills on our drinks and also for boxes for our food. Super disappointed and though we love our hotel and this is the only "good" restaurant in town, I would just choose a pizza or something else further away.

Enjoyed a Sunday evening dinner at Boon eat + drink. Upon seeing "fresh catch of the day" I inquired and found it was salmon. I assumed "fresh catch" but found out from the server it was "farmed salmon". I was disappointed and declined. So close to the ocean in Guerneville but no "fresh catch"...misleading...glad I asked. Luckily I ordered the Lasagna Polenta which was out of this world. Better to be transparent and clear about what you're serving.

This was my third time eating here when in town. The first two visits were great! This was not true recently. The service was odd and detached, and the food was just ok. The beet salad was a real disappointment. There wasn't much to it, either! The polenta lasagne was just ok and left me unsatisfied. My friend had the salmon on lentils, and it was good but not great. Overall disappointed since this place was great the first two times.

I have had amazing food here every time! I will say, the service has been slightly different each time. But the food and ambiance is always on point! One of my favorite restaurants in town. Last time we came, we were not able to get on a wait list. I recommend getting there early or making sure you have a backup restaurant in mind! It is one of the best restaurants in the river area so on a busy night, it is harder to get it since it is a small restaurant. But again, so good!

Had dinner for two last night. The flat iron steak was cooked to perfection. The goat cheese ravioli was excellent as well. Goat cheese can have a strong flavor that dominates the dish, but that was not the case. It was perfectly complemented by the pablano

The food was delicious but what made our experience even better was the excellent service. Douglas was our server and he was so attentive, kind and sweet. You could tell that he really enjoys his job: it was super busy and he was still providing top notch service. Our table was a bit wobbly and before we could even mention it, he noticed. And fixed it himself. He had the entire dessert menu memorized (and it wasnt a simple menu). The restaurant was packed but he kept checking up on all the tables to make sure everyone was getting what they needed. I know its not easy to work at a busy restaurant and Douglas is very hardworking and does it all with a smile on his face. We will 100% visit again the next time we are in the area. Thank you, Douglas!

Highly recommend boon eat + drink! We heard that if we come around 6-7pm on the weekend that there would be a long wait. We went about 10 minutes after opening on Sunday evening, and there were already 2 tables seated. The staff were so nice and attentive. There are two sections to the restaurant: indoors and a covered, heated patio area (they provide blankets). My only small complaint is that some of the tables are close together--I guess that really adds to the cozy vibe. The food was outstanding! In each dish, the different components of the dish balanced each other so well (sweetness + salty + tartness). That made the dishes feel less heavy. Appetizers: *BURRATA cranberry compote | pears | spiced walnuts | grilled bread 9/10 *CAULIFLOWER | sriracha vinaigrette | currant | sesame 8/10 (they ran out of brussel sprouts but the cauliflower was delicious) Mains: *seared DUCK BREAST | cauliflower puree | apricot marmalade | fried kale | pomegranate glaze 10000/10 *chili braised niman PORK shoulder | creamy polenta | fiesta slaw | ricotta salata + pepitas 7/10 They also had an assortment of alcohol to pair with your food :)
