It is very rare that I am transported back to India when visiting an Indian food establishment in the US, but that's exactly what I experienced today. I am so happy right now!! 🙂
My wife ordered Pakodas and Samosas and I ordered their Chicken Curry Combo. We capped it off with their one of a kind Yam Halwa and Masala Chai.
Drinking the piping hot chai with shehnai playing in the background on a wintry day really transported me back to India.
Last but not least, the service was like back home with a big smile and even bigger heart! Dil se...
Btw - Jay is not only a great cook, he is even a great singer, and treated me to a few lines from a golden oldie Bollywood song.
Do yourself a favor - give Jay's a visit and order a combo of your choice with masala chai, or just ask for their recommendations.

Did not expect to find this level of Indian food in a food truck in Guerneville. We had the sag paneer combo and the curry chicken. Everything was fresh, delicious and definitely home made.

Amazing authentic Indian food with fresh ingredients. You can tell the owner cares and puts a lot of love into it. We were so happy to have found this place for lunch before we went on our hike in the Armstrong Redwoods state natural reserve.

Delicious Indian street food. We had butter chicken, daal, and saag paneer. The vegetarian samosas and masala chai were the best we've ever had. Jay and his partner were most friendly and welcoming. We live in Berkeley and if this were closer to us, we'd come every other week!

I wish google allowed us to give out a 6th star once a year for places that really knock your socks off. Everything we tried was excellent and loaded with tremendous flavors. They were also kind enough to save me from myself and stopped me from going over a 5 on the spiciness scale. This turned out to be more than enough, even though I was in the mood for a burn on this cold, wet evening. I'll go out of my way to stop here again the next time I'm in town.

We are so excited to have amazing Indian food in the Russian River area! I got to meet Jay yesterday and have some delicious chicken tikka and mango lassi. Next time going to try the biryani. Please keep in mind the city has some construction going on so if you’re driving, you can access Jay’s through the gas station on the other side of the street from Safeways. Give him a visit!
Cash and card accepted. A true gift to the food scene on the river, this truck is easily the best Indian food I've had in the county. Worth a stop whenever passing through.

Delicious, stand-out Indian food in a county that has many delicious options. Everything is fresh and flavorful, especially the curry, and the dahl is superb. Dont miss the samosas with the dips. The staff is extremely kind and accomodating. Gettijg there: It's easy to miss as it's a food truck parked below sidewalk-level, surrounded by cyclone fencing. It's across from the Safeway parking lot. Keep an eye out for their outdoor seating with sunbrellas and a garden space in the works. Will definitely be returning and bringing visitors.

This truck has been in the area for a few weeks. Today decided to stop by to check it out. I was a bit unsure at first. But Jay suggested I taste Saag Paneer before placing the order. And it was delicious. The Samosas were very tasty and just perfect crunchy as well. This truck is in a open lot next to a gas station across from Safeway. Not the greatest atmosphere. Jay and Ravi were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back again.
Vegetarian options: They had Saag Paneer, Daal Makhani on the menu the day I visited.
