Happened to be in the middle of nowhere, taking the scenic route home on Hwy 16, when my passengers decided they were hungry and found this place via some spotty cell connection. What a gem. Could not have been more pleased. We arrived at 1:30pm on a late July Thursday and it was very quiet. Atmosphere was definitely old-time rustic. Very cute. Service was bend-over-backwards helpful. My wife has multiple food allergies, and our server (Jason?) was tremendously helpful in searching out ingredient list to make sure there were no off-limits ingredients in their offerings. My wife and I split the BBQ Plate for $18. It has many offerings, from which we chose ribs, tri-tip, beans, corn salad and garlic bread. It was the perfect amount of food for us for lunch. The mango sorbet was delicious and refreshing on a hot day.

They have everything from ribs to pie to tater tots. I definitely recommend the tater tots and the burgers. They're really good. The restaurant has cornhole and a grassy area for kids/pets. In the summer, they put out a sprinkler for kids to run in. Overall a great experience. They are pet friendly and they're super nice.

Parking: There is a small parking area but you can always park down the street.

Kid-friendliness: They have a grassy area for kids to run in. In the summer, they put out a sprinkler for kids to run in and they have two different sets of cornhole.

This place is a little treasure on the scenic route of Hwy 16. Nestled between hills in a quiet little valley, they are serving up some delicious bbq on a beautiful back yard patio adorned with flowers and a stage for live music. We had the fish & chips and the bbq nachos, which were quite yummy.(Pro tip- the nacho chips got really soggy from the toppings so next time I'll get everything on the side and put it together as I eat it)Being the only ones there, we had the whole backyard to ourselves and the weather was fantastic for sipping wine and catching up. It was a great visit.
