It's a tradition to stop here for lunch on our long drives up and down the 5 freeway. The soup bowls never disappoint. And the gift shop always has new items. Be sure to pick up sweets in the bakery.
My go to for comfort food! Namely split-pea soup and a loaded bake potato. The food is always good and the service is excellent. Yes, the place is a bit aged and could probably use an update, but keeping doing the great food and service!
Iconic restaurant. You MUST visit at least once in your life! Of course try the Split-pea soup even if you don't like peas (me). It is delicious! And the cheese and croutons in the gift shop are yummy.
