Grab A Crab

Came here Sunday, with my partner as she wanted to grab a seafood boil. Coming inside seems pretty chill moderate noise where you can hear everything around but still can be able to converse with the people sitting at the table with you. Anyhow we got the combo for two with snow crabs and crawfish and add headless shrimp to the mix as well boiled eggs.
We got the appetizer which were chicharrón , gumbo and chicken tenders as well 6pc raw oysters.

The chicharrón came out first which to me 7/10 had a lot of Chili seasoning bit sour but crunchy

Second that came was the gumbo 9/10 flavorful as well was good with the chicharrón

Then came the seafood boil that came in the bags but what was forgotten was the boiled eggs we got them after a couple bites into the seafood. 9.5/10 definitely flavorful and the medium spice is not to spicy to have ur nose runny and unbearable to eat

Then came the raw oysters wish they did it steam tho would have made it great honestly. But it was still decently good.

The drinks I got an Arnold Palmer but that had to be the most awfullest drink I’ve ever had. Idk if it’s the machine or what it is but it was just disgusting
The orange Fanta my gf had taste carbonated.

Overall it was a good experience beside the drinks, but they also provide you these tokens to play at the claw machine and if u win a stuff you have it added to ur plate which was what I was told by my gf.

Service, it was pretty decent not above and beyond but still pretty great and tolerable.

My favorite seafood boil spot! We drive all the way from the IE just to Grab A Crab! The combos are a great deal and the have great flavor! Their shrimp isn't overcooked and they have a good variety of appetizers and seafood options. The best part is there's actually parking and the waits aren't crazy like the other crab place that will not be named.

Very nasty establishment! They have hair in their food!! I Come here all the time spending money! I had a hair in my food and they didn’t want to replace the food . They Discounted $25 on $130 meal . The food was full because I stopped eating after I seen the hair. I was forced to pay for food I didn’t eat. Will never be returning .

Today’s the first day off in a long time and my handsome man wanted some seafood and he went to handy dandy TikTok and found this WONDERFUL place! Omg soooo my man got a boil and I got some fried appetizers. Man oh man was it everything we expected. Very good obviously we were full and happy. Leon our waiter! He was awesome. He help to understand the bundle and we sure went with it! We played the game with the tokens. It was a while experience. Thank you Leon! Thank you TikTok.

We showed up to the restaurant about 2pm on a Friday. There was one server literally running between tables. We stood waiting in the entryway for about 10 minutes before getting acknowledged. Then we asked for a booth which is when I noticed 3 empty tables filled with trash throughout the restaurant. We almost left but decided to stay because another worker showed up and clocked in as we were standing there debating. Took about another 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered and it is now 30 minutes from when we were seated and we still don’t have our order. We asked for extra limes and still didn’t get that either. Which wouldn’t be too big of a problem but other people who arrived after us got their order first and we are still sitting here waiting feeling ignored and just like a problem. We have been here before and are used to a little bit of a wait but this seems excessive. Even when we asked for a refill on our drink the waiter stopped at other tables to offer refills when we were again waiting. The food came out and it wasn’t as good as normal. Very little sauce on the shrimp and the rice was like day old very hard and clumpy. This is not how the food usually is. Very disappointing and probably won’t be coming back for a bit because it’s such a let down. Usually this is my favorite shrimp place but today the service was just terrible. I usually come about twice a month but maybe time to take a break.

The mussel here small and taste nasty like frozen for a long time.

Bad service. Order 1 rice, never get it, asked the server, she said her co worker already dropped it for us, but we never got it. She then brought a rice and double charged us even though we only got 1. Still insist on saying her co worker already dropped the rice for us and want to charge us twice. Asked her to check camera too if she did not believe us. Why would we lie for a $2.95 rice when we spent almost $300 on the dinner there. Very bad service. First time and last time there.

The shirmp was sooooooo juicy and the service was amazing very welcoming to all our order was out pretty fast and with no complaints…
