Ordered carne asada fries and the guacamole was disgusting and beyond expired. The cheese seemed stale. Will not come back here again

I absolutely love Pepe's Mexican Restaurant in La Puente! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, friendly customer service that makes you feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious—authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The facility is spotless, which really adds to the overall experience.
A huge shoutout to Chad, the manager, who truly makes Pepe's a standout spot. His dedication and attentiveness ensure that every guest has a fantastic experience. Chad's positive attitude and commitment to excellence really shine through and make this place special.
Highly recommend Pepe's for anyone craving amazing Mexican Cuisine.

Pepe’s as a chain has been around for decades but this location has only been open for like 10~15 years. In the time that they’ve been opened, I think it’s safe to say that they’ve established themselves as a Hacienda Heights staple for fast casual Mexican-American food.
I’ve been dining at Pepe’s since before this location ever opened. I used to frequent the El Monte and Brea locations and I was really happy when they opened on Hacienda Blvd. I have fond memories of late night Pepe’s trips with my friends from my high school years through my college years. They’ve ALWAYS remained quality and consistent.
Now that I’m older and my body doesn’t let me get away with eating this type of food past 9pm, I don’t eat Pepe’s quite as often. However, whenever I occasionally do, their food still tastes just as delicious as I remember.
Get the carnitas here!!!

The food is excellent and the staff is always friendly. They have two TVs in the restaurant. The Dodger game was on one and the other had SpongeBob?? With that I can give it a family friendly rating. 🙂

Pepe's has a few locations, throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Drove by the location in La Puente over a span of 5 years never thinking of stopping at yet another fast food Mexican spot. However, about 6 months ago. I found myself in Hacienda Heights looking something to eat. Low and behold there was a Pepe's, walked in and ordered a chile relleno burrito, i wasn't expecting anything special, but I was surprised and delighted when I took my frist bite And it was delicious. The beans where creamy and absolutely delicious, the relleno had the perfect ratio of cheese and chile. There hard shell tacos are fill with perfectly seasoned beef or chicken. Honestly everything I've ordered did not disappoint me. I also stopped by the LA Puente location and the food was just as delicious. A most try location for sure.

Food is of great quality, thing is some certain dishes come out quite salty, excessively at times. Other than that, good eats.
My go to when lm hungry
Always good

Very good. Loved the rice and beans. Machaca was nicely seasoned. I did not use salsa. Flour tortillas were a plus.
