Absolutely terrible experience. We hired the food truck for a event. They showed up a few hours after the agreed time. Food was mediocre. I rather have birria Gonzalez on valley.

Good birria but could way more spicier. Felt it was a little bland but good. Taco truck on the corner of Hacienda and Gale

I will say that the gentleman has a great smile and is very friendly but the tacos are completely over priced at $18 after tax for four tacos and completely flavorless. Boil beef with chilies and that is it. I've had much better tacos in Los Angeles

El Cabo Pepe's was such a sad disappointment. I hate writing negative reviews but this was unacceptable. After looking at the pictures and some of the reviews I was so excited to try a new Birria place. Sadly, the service and food was just subpar. Starting off with the staff, they were just staring at us and rushing us to order. I personally just felt as if they wanted us to left to close up shop and go home. Now the biggest disappointment was the food. We got the 3 Amigo Platter. After looking at the photos and then actually seeing what we got, there is just no comparison. The food had zero flavoring and was just overloaded with cheese. All 3 different tacos tasted the exact same. It would either just tortilla and boiled meat flavor or just a full bite of tasteless cheese. The consume (the dip) was also flavorless and would just leave my mouth oily . Overall $18 for these 3 tacos is just outrageous. Poor service and serving unseasoned boiled beef has left my mental and stomach upset. I unfortunately would not recommend El Cabo Pepe's

Food flavor was delicious I tried the mulita The horchata was a little overpriced for me $7 for a 32 oz bottled horchata Only mistake on my order was that they gave me 3 tacos when I ordered 4

High prices tacos but you get what you pay for. The best queso Birria tacos in town. Right on Gale just west of Hacienda.

I don't get the hype. Tacos weren't crunchy, the soft tacos were soggy. Meat was ok. For $15 a plate, i dunno, i was expecting more.

Ok, so I ordered 2 family meals 1 hour ahead and even texted the number listed on their website, didn't receive a response and chalked it up to them being busy, sent my coworker to pick up the food since grubhub accepted the order and said it would be ready by 11:15. My coworker shows up and no one was at the location, he drove around looking and found no one. So I called another location, and they told me that the truck broke down for this location. Now if that happened and they knew they'd be out if commission for that day, shouldn't they have listed this "location" as closed for the day? How is it that they were able to accept orders when the truck was down??? Idk how organized they are but I thought it was ridiculous that there was no information on whether they'd be at the location or not. The phone number listed for this address wasn't even working either. 1 star wasted our time, and I had to chase grubhub for a refund. Would not reccomend if you have a planned lunch, God knows if you'd even get the food you ordered or if they're even at the location they say they'll be at.

Birria is almost perfect, The tacos dorados were extra fresh and smackalicious. But the tortas was not worth 12 dollars not enough meat and turned soggy after two seconds would have got 4 stars if had not charged 3.75 for a soda "get the f*** out of here"

I got enough tacos for my family and I to try at least one. The tacos' overall taste was good, the meat was well seasoned and tender. The taco also held its shape when I squeezed a lot of lime juice into it and big dips in the consume. I thought that the amount of meat in the tacos was plentiful and how cleanly and intentionally packaged my to go order was great ... However, I thought that the consume had a heavy star anise flavor, and was not savory enough for my liking. Overall, it was a good option, but not my favorite birria tacos that I've tried.

My husband and I tried the Sampler Platter & 3 Amigos Platter because it was pretty much 1 of each Taco type! Food was delicious, they provided enough consume, cilantro & onions, salsa, limes, and i loved how we didnt need to ask for more! Only a few things that i would say would have made it 5 stars would be that they need prices on their menu and to actually stay open as late as they say on here. We arrived about 7:15pm and supposedly their hours are until 8pm and another group of people came around 7:30 & they were closing up shop after we placed out order Thankfully we were able to place our order! We'll be back again! Food was DELICIOUS
