Heads up that they don't do phone orders anymore and require online ordering only. Little bit of a loss of accessibility. Now need to find a new brunch

Crunchy French toast was unpleasantly greasy. I was surprised. I guess I should've read the menu better. It may have said deep fried. Even so, it was just gross.

Delicious, unique brunch food! (My friend and I shared ube french toast and mango habanero omelette.) A bit expensive compared to other nearby brunch restaurants, but the food is much more unique that makes it worth it. Will definitely be back!

Yummy breakfast with a unique twist to some of the breakfast items! Came on a Friday morning about 30 mins after opening. Not busy, quick service. It is a order & pay first, then served to your table if you chose to dine in. Has indoor seating & I believe I peeped a patio seating. Prices were expensive but I guess maybe that's the life of SoCal.- Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe: just know that my boyfriend fucked it up & devoured it. He enjoyed this crepe with a side of ice cream at 8:30am lol.-Kimchi Spam Omelet: lots of kimchi in the omelet and not a whole lot of spam. It was good though!! Kimchi was a perfect pungent and spice was great. Loved that the dish came with a side of potatoes, salad, and toast! My potatoes were a nice texture. It's like eating crispy French fries. - Egg Coffee: an item that is trendy right now. It was coffee topped with like thick egg foam. It made the coffee creamy and the foam top is sweet!

I just realized that I had too many eggs from this meal since the coffee is egg coffee.Egg coffee was good, a bit of sweet, not overpowering though.Benedict was a lot. I made a point to finish all the veggies and eggs. After that, I was too full.Too bad I could not sit in the patio area due to the rain from yesterday.

Nice cute brunch spot! I came in for Sunday brunch a couple months back & had they had a great music selection playing! Was greeted with a friendly smile which was nice. It tried their toffee banana French toast which personally was a bit to sweet for my liking but I look forward to going back & try something else off the menu! Overall it's a cute brunch spot I definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area :)

The food was fantastic. Hands down the best calamari Ive ever had. And the Norwegian benedict was delicious and generously portioned. Its a little bit on the pricey side, but its absolutely well deserved.

Parking: Popping Yolk Cafe is located in a decent sized plaza and shares a parking lot with several other restaurants and stores. There is usually plenty of space for parking.Exterior: There are tables outside in the alley between the two buildings for outdoor dining. There is a canopy over it so it is relatively shady.Interior: There are several tables inside for indoor seating. Everything is pretty clean and aesthetically pleasing.Service: Everyone was pretty nice. You order at the cashier first and then find a table to sit at. They will bring the food to you.Food: We ordered the Smoked Salmon Omelette, Mango Habanero Chicken Omelette, Ube French Toast, Hazelnut Latte, and the Egg Coffee (only comes iced). First off, let me say that the omelettes were huge. One order can probably be shared between 2-3 people. The Mango Habanero Chicken Omelette was my favorite out of the two. Both omelettes were packed with filling and I actually wished there was a bit more egg but overall they were pretty good. The Ube French Toast was crispy and not as sweet as I expected. I would definitely recommend it if you like ube.

With the yolk yellow building, it sticks out of the entire plaza. The place offers outdoor and indoor seatings. The service requires you to order and pay at the counter. They will give you a number stand, and the server will bring the food to your table. I don't like this system, because you are tipping blindly. Unless you tip by cash after the meal. The dining area yielded some grease trap smell; not too bad, I have smelled worse than this one. The dining area was clean with light color decor. The food was served in a timely manner. Most plates are served with a portion of salad and potato cubes like fries. The taste was good, not the best, but decent. The price is slightly on the high side, you can easily spend up to $20+ with tip and tax. Overall, it's a good place to dine, but not my first choice. It's a 3.8 out of 5.

Came here for a catch up date with a friend and her daughter last week. I know this is a chain and there are multiple locations but we hadn't been to any of them before. We both ordered a benedict and the portion of food was much bigger than we expected we did not finish our food and had enough for a second meal. A salad and country recipes accompanied our benedicts. There weren't many people in there so the wait staff was very attentive. I may have to try something sweet from their menu next time.
