Even though I don't have a sweet tooth, I felt that it wasn't sweet enough. How did it taste after you ate it? It doesn't have much of a special feature that I forget about it...It's delicious as it is, but it doesn't compare to Osaka's cheesecake. it's okay, very bland. Maybe it'll be different for other flavors. I wish they can let us have a sample like yogurtland

Been wanting to try these for a long time !!!! Does not really have a cheesecake flavor! it’s aesthetically pleasing and it’s a small cute size of a cheesecake cake. It’s not so cheesy . You can’t really taste any cream cheese. It’s more Like a poundcake. We just had the original ! It doesn’t taste bad, but it just doesn’t really give you that cheesecake feeling

First I will say we like this place and the cakes here. Unfortunately the the service was dreadful. We went last night and looking at their options and even tried a new recipe they were sampling while waiting our turn. The employee was seemingly very friendly and helpful the thy young couple in front of us. When it was our turn that friendly disposition vanished and they were extremely rude, very short and seemingly uninterested in servicing us or answering our questions. Basically it was, "what do you want".... eye rolling and change in body language was all to apparent. Very unfortunate as we do love this place but their rudeness and unwillingness was a major turn off.

I was helped out by Joe…. He was very nice and friendly and provided great customer service and was very patient with my questions about the cheesecakes after he helped me I noticed the next person he helped was very rude to him and even accused him of being sarcastic as from what I recalled he just greeted them saying “oh you’re back for more welcome back” they seem to have taken that the wrong way but I would of actually felt grateful someone remembered me from a previous visit. I felt so bad for how he was treated and I see secret dior might be that person since they came to write the bad review of Joe, you should be ashamed of yourself,The cheesecake was great he recommended Oreo and ube, I definitely will be going back for more thank you Joe! Keep up the great work!

Uncle Tetsu is currently having a holiday promotion for gift card purchases. If you purchase a $50 gift card, you receive a complimentary cheesecake. If you purchase a $100 gift card, you receive two complimentary cheesecakes. You can also choose the flavors for your free cheesecakes. This promotion is valid until December 31, 2023. The Japanese cheesecakes from Uncle Tetsu are so fluffy and not too sweet. These cheesecakes would make perfect treats for the holidays.

Dense and not creamy. I've always had the original cheesecake at the Arcadia location. This cheesecake was not fluffy at all. Tasted like an angel food cake, not a great experience.

Delectable sweets!! 5 Stars*****Cheesecake: 5 Stars*****Service: 5 Stars*****Price: 5 Stars***** I recently visited Uncle Tetsu's cheesecake shop, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The interior of the shop is simply adorable, with their signature cheesecakes proudly displayed at the counter. The service was exceptional; the gentleman behind the counter took the time to explain the process of creating these delectable masterpieces.I decided to try their seasonal cheesecake, the Pandan coconut. The fluorescent green outer shell was eye-catching, and the moment I took a bite, I was pleasantly surprised. The cake was delicate, moist, and incredibly spongy. The coconut flavor shone through without being overpowering, and I savored every bite.In addition to the seasonal cheesecake, I also couldn't resist trying their original cheese tart. It was a sweet, creamy delight, and the crust was flaky and delicious.Uncle Tetsu's definitely deserves five stars in my book. The combination of a charming interior, informative service, and scrumptious cheesecakes and tarts made for a fantastic experience. I highly recommend paying them a visit if you're a cheesecake enthusiast.

VERY Disappointed We always come here for cheesecakes. I got a basque cheesecake for my father in law's birthday, and when we opened it, it was completely black. Having gotten the basque cheesecake many times before we knew what to expect. However, this time, it was entirely different. It was as if we got it from a different store. The exterior was so burnt that the bitterness overwhelmed the flavor of whatever cheesecake flavor was left. It was equal to tasting scorched milk. I would've understood if they asked me to wait for a new one or even give me other options, but to give us something that clearly is not the same standard that they've given to us before is inexcusable.

Came right when it opened at 9am on a Saturday. Got the cheesecake tart $4.5 each: original, ube and matcha. The fourth flavor was chocolate, but didn't get that. Also order the mini cheesecake so that I can try the variety of flavors. 5 for $10: panda with coconut, ube, puzu , strawberry and original. The service was quick. The place was clean.Definitely a must try on the cheesecake tart. Favorite was the original and the ube.Yummy!

The establishment specializes in Japanese cheesecake. It's very clean inside, the whole place looked spotless. They have it opened area so you can see them making what they sell, it's really cool and interesting. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. The prices are very reasonable. I tried the original Japanese cheesecake and original cheesecake tart. It was amazing, very delicious. I definitely recommend trying here.

This fluffy, cotton-y, spongy cheesecake is so good! A variety of flavors to choose from. The strawberry is delicious!

Love the japanese cheesecakes here! Light and fluffy!Staffs are always nice and friendly!Place is always clean! My top favorite cheesecakes would be coffee and matcha! Both are creamy and smooth, o no artificial taste, not overly sweet, and goodBalanced of bitterness of coffee and matcha , so good! Tried their seasonal yuzu flavors is equally good! The refreshing taste of yuzu mixed with creamy cheesecake, yum!Pandan coconut flavor is my least favorite coz it's kinda sweet if comparing to coffee and matcha flavors.Highly recommend their matcha tart too! I'm so addicted to it! Soft crust with creamy and smooth matcha filling, not overly sweet so good. The ube and chocolate tart flavors are just alright. They do have mini cheesecakes which you can mixed and match 5 different flavors in a box too!

Came here because of all the hoopla around this place. I came out a little disappointed.Ordered the matcha cheesecake - not much flavour and couldn't taste the matcha. Also got a couple of tarts which was much better. Original cheese tart and Ube tart was good. Next time will get tarts instead of cheesecake.
