I have been coming here for years since they have opened at this location. Back then, the late 2000's, there weren't that many Chinese spicy restaurants around my area. Since then many spicy Chinese restaurants opened left and right but this is still my favorite place to get Chinese spicy food. I just thought this review is overdue. I just have to pay compliment to this wonderful restaurant. I mostly enjoy their cold appetizers. There are probably a dozen to choose from and very reasonable. My favorite are the spicy pork, string seaweed, woodear, fried tofu, pickled diced green bean, etc. They often put out new items which I enjoy, like the new sliced lotus root. All delicious. Our family's favorite entrees are: Boiled beef, Chungking fried chicken, Fried pork w/hot chili (caution: extremely spicy), and Eggplant w/garlic sauce. If you're a vegetarian, try their Ma Po tofu and sautéed pea sprouts. Their food are delicious, reasonably priced and good portion size. I will keep coming back for more.

They impose additional miscellaneous fees without informing you. Often, when paying cash for takeouts, waitresses add an extra $1 or $2 to each plate or the total, and they don't provide a receipt. This signals a deceptive establishment. A fraudulent eatery.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to find this amazingly good Chinese restaurant. It starts with a great atmosphere on all the walls and the ceilings are ornately carved and no fluorescent lights very calm. I wish there was Chinese music playing that's the only thing that's missing. People tend to bring their phones and they will listen to a podcast I've seen that done twice. I feel like putting on Pandora on my own little station to enjoy at our table.

As of today this place is rated 3.2 stars. How is this even possible? Today I had the Szechuan Twice Cooked Pork and it was a transcendental experience. Absolutely the singularly most memorable dish I had in 2023. Bravo.

This restaurant has multiple locations and it's my personal favorite when it comes to yunnan cuisine. The cold dish was amazing, you can choose a 1/2/3 items combo at the register area, and take it with you right away. The boiled pork intestine was so good that makes me a returning customer. Seriously, this is an authentic Chinese place, it's a loss if you coming over here to order orange chicken/ kungpao chicken.
My favorite fried spicy chicken! Very addictive. I can eat an entire plate if only my stomach can handle it. The spicy chicken and the spicy and sour cabbage are the must orders for us every time we go. They also have great cold side dishes. Good portions and very yummy!

My first time coming here and I am so upset that I didn't make this place exist. The food here was amazingly delicious and I would say I now crave it from time to time and want to come here more often after discovering this place. The inside and outside look very dated but the food hands down is authentic as I have ever had. Their small sides/appetizers in front are tasty! Do not miss out on these and get a few items to share with your friends. Their spicy fried chicken that is cut up into squares was also a great flavor. I'm not sure what it is on the menu but I took a photo of it. The way they cut it up makes the chicken super crispy. Love it! We also ordered a large bowl of fish and beef that comes with broth and vegetables inside. This is a full-blown meal! You can probably just order this with a few sides and you will be stuffed. Every dish was so so good! If you haven't been and want to try some real Chinese food this is the place to be. Bring a family of people so you can eat more of the dishes!
