I had been here YEARS ago pretty much right when the opened up for lunch plates and didn't remember it being great. I had a place in Pacifica that I really liked so for years I never went back despite the fact that I live only 2 miles or less away. We were in the mood for chinese and decided to go and check it out on a take-out for dinner. Got a dinner special and it was really pretty darn good. If you want to eat healthy then you will probably need to go off the ala carte menu. But the dinner for 2 was a ton of food and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. For me this is more a lunch plate or to-go as the restuarant is pretty low key but in a pinch i would sit there. They were very nice too which was sort of against what our memory was of the place.

Love this place. The food is really good and the service is solid. This is my go to spot for takeout Chinese. I've also gotten big catered orders from them for events and they are very reliable for that with the quality to match. Highly recommend this spot. Some favorites: generals chicken, honey walnut shrimp, Mongolian beef, chicken chow mein, basil chicken, just to name a few.

VERY disappointed in the food quality and taste at AKK. Each dish we ordered for take out completely lacked good flavor. China House in HMB is by far the better restaurant for Chinese food. Will not return to AKK

It’s a family-owned Chinese eatery with delicious food, prompt service and large portion sizes. We had ordered the Veg Chowmein, Prawns in Lobster sauce and Kung Pao Tofu Vegetables. All dishes were excellent! It’s about midway between Devil’s Slide and Half Moon so a good pit stop.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options!

Used to go hiking with my family nearby when I was younger and at the end of the day we would come here to eat our dinner and I always remembered how delicious it was and I came back recently to reminisce about the times I had here and the food was delicious as how I thought it always was. I loved the wonton soup especially with the cold and windy days

Pork chow mein was fantastic, sweet and sour chicken as well. The girl loved the noodles in the chow mein, not too oily.
