Best ice cream in the Bay Area, hands down! All flavors I've tried so far (vanilla bean, cassis, mascarpone, hazelnut) were super delicious! Very creamy, lots of flavor, and not too sugary. Also super friendly service, and they even exchange flavors if you don't like some! Which won't happen...

We enjoy the delicious sweet creations here. The flavors are different every visit but always so yummy we have to get the large cup so we can try several flavors. No artificial anything. Made with care from real fruit, etc. by a true artisan.
One of the best Gelato parlors in the area. Great flavors, not too sweet and perfectly balanced. And if you like French street food style dessert crepes, they have some very good and authentic French crepes as well. The owner, Jean Paul is very nice and clearly loves to research and deliver the best products! I highly recommend this place.

Really yummy gelato, they had both classic flavors and more unique ones (like amaretto and eggnog). There were also dairy-free options available. We also liked the hot chocolate to warm up since it was a colder day! I wish we had tried the bubble waffles too while we were there, they looked good! Will definitely be returning to try them another time. Overall a fun place to stop for a quick treat!Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was pretty accessible - I was on crutches and had trouble moving around, but there were no steps leading into the restaurant or seating area so I had no trouble ordering. The owner even brought me a table and chairs inside to sit at and be more comfortable out of the cold! They have super friendly and helpful staff :)

Gelato was awesome as was the Italian hot chocolate two stars off for not having a better description of the flavor or allowing tastes. They really need both.
This is a good gelato place, considering not too many options in the area. Not something I would crave in the future and make a special drive but it's not bad. You cannot taste the gelato prior to buying, and the service is not super friendly when we were there. I was happy to see my favorite rum raisin gelato on the menu but it was too sweet for my taste and lacking in flavor. Maybe it was an "off" day, considering all the good reviews but I just did not have the best experience. Maybe I will give it another try if I happen to be in the area again though!

We are in the Half Moon Bay area doing tourist stuff and I was interested in dessert. I noticed Gulino Gelato was in the area. We headed over. They have a no sample policy but you can return your gelato for a refund if you don't like it. I ordered a large which you can get with 3 flavors.Lemon Lime gelato had equal parts lemon and lime flavor which resulted in a delicious sour flavor a bit like a 7UP without the sweetness.Vanilla gelato was creamy with a smooth texture and a delicious vanilla flavor.Pineapple had a fruity pineapple flavor. Really delicious.I love the gelato here. I ordered the large with 3 flavors but the serving size was similar to a single scoop at Mitchell's ice cream. Afterwards we checked out the arcade near the back of the building where they had pinball machines. :-)

Gulino Gelato is located on a cute street in Half Moon Bay, a great place to stop at after visiting a pumpkin patch in the area.The kid sized scoop is the perfect serving size if you want a lil treat. I opted for the Sweet Almond flavor and it wasn't overly sweet, just the right amount. Samples aren't available but I would've tried the cookies and cream or mascarpone.
