Good food, good service, far from a top tier restaurant but more like a good diner. I liked it, but it is definitely not my first choice for anything

Do not pass this place up. The food is outstanding with portions that are more than filling. Like everyone else, I recommend the fried calamari and cheesy garlic bread. I had the gnocchi and asked them to mix the pesto and Alfredo sauce, wow! The service was wonderful, ask for Scooby, he'll know who sent you.

My mom took us to this restaurant because she thought it was along the coast. She was wrong, so that made this experience disappointing. Joes is like any old dinner just located in California. Unfortunately, the food was subpar and lacked flavor. I was hoping for more from this place. Only would recommend if you are in a pinch. Our waiter was very nice though and service was great!

The service was exceptional, and the food was just what you want from a diner. I would go again.

A perfect over easy egg on corned beef hash (while Willie Nelson sang Pancho and Lefty in the background…) made this Baby Boomer very happy… free refill on the coffee too! ??

Flew in late evening. Went to Joe's. Not busy. Great service. Had the mushroom burger and an IPA on draft. It was great. Friendly staff.

The food was terrible. They need Gordon Ramsey. Family of three, none of ate are food or enjoyed it and we were really hungry. The staff were nice. They'd be better off changing the menu and making something the staff know how to cook because this isn't it.

The initial service was quick and cheery. We were seated in a booth with typical diner feel and started to look at the menu. The food was the most important and worst part. The salad was inedible and a mess, the BLT was dry and came with soggy steak fries. My wife and son, who are much less picky then me, couldn't finish their meal due to its poor quality. I wasn't expecting 5 stars, but this was below hospital food.

Hope the owner reads this. We were the only customers for most of our visit. The food was mostly tasty and the service was very good. In hopes that I will have a reason to visit again, I asked the waitress to ask the chef to serve food on warmed plates. Our food and plates were slightly warm. The American cheese in our omelette was not melted. Also plumbing issues. The Men's toilet can't flush a toilet seat liner in one flush and there is a small leak at the handle. The coffee was great and I loved the free Daily Journal newspaper. Fix em please. We drove an extra 26 miles to be customers.

Typical American diner experience, maybe a bit on the pricier side for the quality of food.

Top notch for the kind of restaurant that it is. Food was very good, reasonably priced, and the staff was very friendly and efficient.

Friendly service but the food leaves nothing to be desired. I totally agree with another reviewer who described the food as "uninspired".
