Chu Toro was melt in your mouth. Spicy tuna roll absolutely delicious. Salmon hand roll was fresh and perfect. Salmon belly nigiri was buttery and bright. Servers and sushi chef all smiling and friendly. Very reasonably priced.
We have been here a couple times ever since a few years ago, when I think they just opened. The food never disappoints. I don’t often come by Japanese food that stand out, and this place does, in many ways like the presentation, taste and variety of food offered. Having spent many years in Vancouver, I’ve had a fair bit of Japanese food growing up.

Very enjoyable meal at hangetsu sushi yesterday. It's my grandsons favorite restaurant and we went there for his birthday meal. We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. We ordered a variety of food for the five of us and everything arrived in 5 minutes. The miso soup was delicious as was everything we ordered. The salmon sushi was excellent and the house hot sake a real treat. Finally the price was really reasonable and great value for what you get. We'll continue...
