Fantastic food and large portions. Gentleman at the register was very kind. Expect about a 20-30 min wait for your food, but very worth the wait! We got the chicken shawarma salad and the chicken shawarma plate (with fries and falafel balls), and the banana milk; it came out to $50.

I had chicken shawarma. I really liked it because it was very flavorful. Chicken was cooked well and it didn't have any red chili in it. The falafel balls were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would recommend it if you are visiting the half-moon bay area.

This hidden gem is a must! Our family stopped by on a day trip to Half Moon Bay. We're from MN, husband is Egyptian- it's hard to find truly great Middle Eastern food, but everything we had at HMB Kebab was so delicious. Hands down the best meal we had on our entire CA trip. This family run business is excellent value- the quality and freshness, the generous portion size for the price, excellent flavor, and friendly atmosphere made for a great experience. The owners kindly treated us to tasty soup. We highly recommend the Lamb Shishkebab Plate and the Beef Shawarma Plate.

While driving south on Highway One, it was so great to stop off at HMB Kebab in Half Moon Bay. We had been there several years ago and I forgot how delicious their food is! It featured an array of fantastic Mediterranean entrees plus some great imported Middle Eastern food items to buy and try, from extra virgin first press olive oil to unique spices, Cardamon tea, many types of Turkish Delight and more. For lunch, we ordered the Beef Shish Kebab which my husband absolutely loved…which is why we purchased the spices for meats. He really enjoyed his sides of grape leaves and hummus which comes with the order. I ordered the Chicken Shish Kebab and it was also very tasty. I thought the hummus and Baba Ganoush were truly exceptional and I often order that at other restaurants. We had leftovers for dinner to take with us, too. We also saw there were an array of 8 different salads and 6 types of wraps from falafel to chicken, meat, kefta and salmon. They have New York Steak Kebab, too. They had baklava and rice pudding that we’ll try next time. They also offer several refreshing non-alcoholic fruit themed cocktails and sodas.The owner and manager were kind and accommodating. The parking was very easy and accessible. We dined indoors but they also had tables outside as well. We would highly recommend dining at HMB Kebab where you’re a local or a visitor!
