We love this restaurant, it is our go to date night spot. The food is consistently delicious and the staff are friendly professional. Don't be afraid to sit outside, the enclosed courtyard has an Italian ambiance, in wall fireplaces, portable space heaters and an awning in case it's foggy.

Its Italia in Half Moon Bay is a charming and stylish restaurant with a warm inviting atmosphere. We've never had a bad meal at It's Italia! We got together for a birthday dinner last night and had such a great time. Suzanne (I hope I got her name right) was wonderful — funny, friendly, and so welcoming. I honestly wish she could've joined our table for dinner, that's how awesome she is! We'll definitely be back soon. If you visit It's Italia, I recommend arriving about 45 minutes early to explore the great shops nearby — it really adds to the experience!

The restaurant atmosphere is exquisite. Elegant authentic Italian. One of the many. reasons we love it. Filet was EXCELLENT, chicken parm was good. Would like a wider variety of veggies offered. Cocktail and wine were good but all is on the pricey side. But a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

We had a wonderful lunch at It's Italia on Halloween. We had a table in the front window so we could watch all the kids In costume Trick or Treating!! Our food was amazing. We had the clam and mussel appetizer to start. I had the fall salad with butternut squash and prawns added....it was delicious. My husband ordered the gnocchi and at our waiter's suggestion added pancetta to the dish and it was one of the best dishes I ever tasted!!! You have to try it!! The cocktails and wine were also quite good and we ended our meal by sharing the house made key lime pie and it was just perfect. We continue to enjoy It's Italia year after year!!!!

We chose It's Italia for a birthday celebration. We all, especially the "guests of honor" left totally satisfied and committed to coming again. The service was attentive, yet not intrusive. Excellent suggestions on both food and drink choices. We each had dishes we felt were "perfect", and the non-alcoholic drink suggestion was "spot on", both in taste, and in celebration of the season and occasion. We were made to feel like special, as if invited to a friend's house.
Delicious food - salmon and pesto pasta and Gorgonzola filet were all delicious. The best pesto we've ever had! Our server Amanda was friendly and knowledgeable when we had questions. Great wine selection. We hope to return next time we visit the west coast!

So we have been coming here for years but the hostesses are always on a power trip. We have reservations every time requesting a booth as my husband has a bad neck the they always try to seat us at the upright table. When we mention we had requested a booth, they say - oh those are reserved - then I say, you mean like our reservation? What kind of sense does it make? Them we asked to sit on back patio as they have more comfortable chairs if we can't have a booth - they said it's all booked. Then I show them three open booths on the floor and finally one of them says fine - like it's a big problem to give the guy who reserved the booth a booth that's available. To add insult to injury I peak into the back patio and there are 10 tables free with only two occupied so that was a lie and then the other booth we had wanted as it's our favorite booth, never gets seated the rest of the evening. We arrived at 7:45 for our reservation and were there speaking lots of money I'll til 9:30. Just a bag of manipulative lies by the power trippin hostesses who clearly don't understand the value of loyal customers. They need some training. Unfortunately I don't want to do this dance anymore - it's literally happened the last three times we made reservations there and we had to talk to the manager ion all three occasions to cut through the BS. Done with the games - I'll take my business to Pasta Moon. If I owned the restaurant i would give those gals a quick lesson in customer service. One time they told us, you can't sit there because the waiter is too busy and the waiter overheard and said no I'm not. Who is running the show here???

We spent 8 days in California eating at many top restaurants and this little gem was one of the most memorable for many reasons. We had a lovely lunch on a quiet afternoon as our anniversary vacation was coming to an end. Our server was sweet, knowledgeable, bubbly and wonderful. And the food was delicious, especially my peach and burrata salad, and we had a lovely anniversary dessert at the end. I also loved the rustic, quaint atmosphere. It was cozy and perfect. I truly loved this place and if I lived local, it would be my weekly go to spot.
