The worst place in the world to go. Food is OK service is horrible. The lady manager in the morning needs to go back to ruling he'll. She is the most person I have ever met. They screw up your order every time and then treat you like your trying to steal when you complain and want what you ordered and payed for

I ordered ONE thing. A drink. Chose curbside. There were ZERO customers in the store (I could see inside). This should've taken 5 minutes MAX. I sat outside for 15-20 minutes while they waited until the OTHER car's entire meal was ready to bring my drink out. Instead of just bringing it out when it was ready, she didn't want to make two trips. This store is full of the LAZIEST bunch of "workers" I've ever encountered. Get off your butt and bring out the orders AS THEY COME or stop offering curbside service. Simple as that. If I wanted melted ice in my drink after waiting 15 mins for something that can be made in 2, I'd have come in and grabbed it myself instead of paying for it.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The staff are incompetent, most of them don't speak English well at all, or understand it. Mobile app may or may not work at this store, depending on if anyone turns on their payment processor for mobile orders (and if you ask them to do so, they act like they don't know how to do it). I've had multiple wrong orders - but only at my expense - they never mess up by giving anything extra- only by leaving stuff OUT of the order or NOT putting extra (paid for) toppings on burgers, etc. They take forever bringing curbside orders out, even with no customers in the store. Several times they've come out, stared off into space for a moment, before taking our order to the wrong vehicle. The spaces are numbered numerically. I've even had to go inside to get my curbside order, because no one ever came out, even after the app says the order has been completed. On two occasions, we've gone to open the door (during normal business hours) only to find it locked because "the manager was eating lunch". I don't know how these people function in every day life, let alone keeping a restaurant afloat. The whole crew needs to be replaced with people who can read order tickets, form full thoughts, and turn those thoughts into a (correct) fast-food order.

McDonald's # 7221100 N Cabrillo Hwy, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019(650) 726-1222This is the McDonalds Restaurant at the Strawflower Village shopping center in Half Moon Bay, CA. It's probably a welcome sight to any traveler along Highway 1, aka "The Pacific Coast Highway." The building itself looks new and has modern decor. On a Monday evening, I decided to go thru their drive-thru to sample the food. I ordered:-Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese, $6.19-6-pc McNuggets w/ bbq sauce, $4.69-Large fries, $4.99The drive-thru has dual menu boards. Service was quick and efficient.How was the food? Not worth $17.39.For $17.39, I'm sure I could of gone to the Taqueria and ordered a nice burrito. As consumers, we must all decide at what point, fast food isn't worth it and spend our money elsewhere. That's what Yelp reviews are for, to help people make better decisions. I'm a former fast food shift manager, and I'm a little qualified to judge food at this particular chain. 1/4 Pounder w/ Cheese, grade (2/5)- lacks the juicy tasty meat patty. Meat patty was probably kept in a warmer. All components/ condiments are there. Tastes similar to old school Quarter Pounder, just not the same. Large Fries, grade (1/5)- at first they seemed hot and fresh. But they under salted and some were old fries. So, they mixed batches.....very bad. Their "large" is a medium at Wendys. Not worth $4.996-pc McNuggets, grade (3/5). They serve them in a bag now. It doesn't retain heat and moisture. Tasty, but the nuggets are not as meaty as before. I asked for bbq sauce.Misc: Very hard to get out of parking lot at 4:30pm, better to use the back exit behind the shopping center. It will take you pass the Burger King and runs into Hwy 92 x Hwy 1. My advice: Pass this McDonalds and venture into the shopping center. There's other restaurants inside.

This poor Latino woman is doing the job of 5 people. She is working exceptionally well. It's amazing actually. It's sad to see how corporateization pushes people to work this hard and they are completely under staffed. No one is at the register to take orders. They rely on forcing the customer to do the job of employees. And then drive their labor force into the ground. All to line the pockets of the share holders. This is not a sustainable model.

Well it's just McDonald's has always been customer service. I'm not sure because I just go through the drive-thru so atmosphere was out the window for me too. But yeah they're all right. They're McDonald'

I know no one ever reads McDonald's reviews but bear with me. This is the location that will mess up whatever you order. This is the location where your coffee looks like dirt water. This is the location where you ask- and pay- for extra of something and instead get the regular portion- just on the side. Not sure who in leadership at this location is responsible for the arrogance the employees are clearly instructed to convey, but take the time to just go to a different McDonald's because this place will ruin your order- and day- no matter what you order. Genuinely just hope this gets to a fellow human who goes to McDonald's for consistency: do not go here !!

This McDonald's in Half Moon Bay is a notch above the rest. Efficient and seemingly well-managed, it stands out in terms of both service and ambiance. The staff is more attentive and courteous than what I've experienced at other locations.During peak hours, it's no surprise that things can get a bit hectic inside. Given the bustle, I've found that using the drive-through is a more seamless experience during these times.All in all, if you're looking for a reliable McDonald's experience with a touch more polish, this spot in Half Moon Bay is a safe bet.
