Delicious! I especially loved the Kashmiri naan and the goat cheese naan. Chicken tikki masala and the lamb korma was also great. Would definitely eat here again!

The biryani wasn't made very well. The rice seemed like it was just regular rice with a sauce mixed in. The chicken also tasted a bit rubbery.

I bring my friends and family here to try my favorite dish the Mango Lamb Curry. Secret is my grandfather made this dish when I was a child and never would thing it was similar to a homemade Nepali dish. I have been coming here since it opened and kept it a secret. The family who runs this are the nicest and lively sharing the lovely home recipe. The asparagus soup is also delicious and many others. If you like mild Nepali dishes come here. The food is delicious and you will come back. Warning: it can get busy and reservation is highly suggested. Highly recommended and my favorite place to go when I am in town.

Great food, healthy and tasty! Vegetarian tali plate was just right. Lovely interior with a fountain, Nepalese decor, and plants.

I haven't had much Nepalese/Indian food, but this is the best I've ever had anywhere!! I'll be thinking of Monsoon back home in LA and coming back whenever I'm in the area. Visited this place with a friend after a hike in Purisima Creek. From the start I was drawn in by the lovely decor, which consisted of various photos, flags, and statutes/figures. I also loved that they featured local artists, which added to the decor. I knew absolutely nothing when it came to the food and when I had questions about what to order, both of the people working were incredibly patient with me and answered all of them. After the food came, one of them would periodically drop by with a warm smile and ask how we were liking it (I was inhaling it at that point). I honestly can't say what we ordered other than that it was 2 curries and 2 breads, one curry had chicken in it and one had bamboo shoots and black eyed peas. The bamboo one was slightly sour and the black eyed peas gave it a nice crunch. The chicken one was moderately spicy and still juicy and tender. I need the bread in my life every week before a long run if possible. Overall. I loved my experience and would recommend anyone come, even people totally uninitiated into Nepalese/Indian food like me.

Nice little, ma & pa, location tucked away in a small strip mall off Half Moon Bay Main Street. Authentic flavors, great options and reasonable places. The chili paneer is so tasty and you can tell them how spicy you want it. I was so enjoying the food that I forgot to photograph the rest of the meal (prawn vindalo and naan). Give them a try!

We went here for my husband's birthday because I saw they had a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. When we first walked in I immediately loved the decor, the restaurant felt very welcoming and casual but had so many interesting things to look at. The staff was very friendly and took time to chat with tables. The staff did wear masks most of the time but I could still tell they were always smiling while they were working. We both ordered a traditional Nepali vegetarian combo meal because we felt like it was a great value for everything that comes with it. It came with Daal soup, a salad with a mango dressing, choice of brown/white rice, saag curry (which is made from spinach), mixed vegetable curry, papadum with a dipping sauce, and some rice pudding with coconut, almond and raisin toppings. This is a great way to try a little bit of many dishes! You can also choose the spiciness level that you like, which is great because I don't like spice but my husband does. My husband raved about the saag curry and said it was the star of the show. I'm hit or miss with cooked spinach, but also though the saag curry was very tasty. The start of the show for me was the rice pudding though lol. Mostly because I absolutely love rice pudding. But everything was delicious. We had a great experience and I would highly recommend trying it out if you're in the area.

Being a vegetarian it’s a bit tricky to find food that’s leaves you craving for more. While in HMB we stumbled upon this place and it was very welcoming and warm looked more like a family run place and cozy set up. They have wishing wheel as well and a lot of interesting stuff. However I wish I could say the same about all the food. The veg momos very great sadly the aloo bodi tama had the black eyes bean peas were so hard and uncooked I might have ended up hurting a tooth or two, while the naan was edible enoughOverall a nice place depending on what you chose, also very few vegetarian options.

A hidden gem in HMB. While the Coast was packed with traffic on a rare warm and sunny day, we veered off route 1 to visit this great lil spot, tucked away in a mini mall off Main Street. Inside, the restaurant is decorated with prayer flags crisscrossing overhead and permeates with the aroma of familiar Indian spices. If you have never had Nepalese cuisine, it is much like food from India (tandoori, curries, etc), with a regional spin. We ordered palak paneer, tandoori salmon, fried rice dish and goat stew (there were 4 of us). All were delicious and the service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. We're so glad we found a new local favorite!

We thoroughly enjoyed the home made food here. My husband really liked the Tandoori chicken. The tamarind sauce was especially good. The desserts were enjoyable. I had cream whipped with lemon that in the UK we call syllabub. My husband had a cheescake. If you want gifts from Nepal there are lovely pashminas, necklaces, CDs, prayer wheels and more to buy.

Amazing! If we're ever in town again, we will definitely stop here again. The food was super hot and fresh. Service was awesome, and the ambiance matched perfectly.

We ate here for dinner for the first time this weekend and LOVED IT! The food was excellent, the services was fabulous and the decor lovely. I actually really appreciated that they had a sign up saying that they were short staffed and to please be patient. It was honest and informative. And honestly, our wait for our food was not really any longer really than most places.
