Nano's is a happy place in a beautiful part of Half Moon Bay. I came hungry and left happy with their signature BBQ chicken and my friend had the garlic shrimp. When we learned that they were in fact out of shrimp, Nano himself brought in a fresh bucket of prawns and cooked them to order. The atmosphere calms the nerves and relaxes the mind.

The worst latte I ever had in my life and they charged 7.5 USD for that. I had to return the coffee to them by saying please trash it.

A hidden gem in Halfmoon Bay, we had the BBQ Chicken with white rice and trip-tip with macaroni. The food was delicious. Good portions. Outdoor seating available in the back. Chill and relaxing place. Great service. Family owned business.

We were just walking by and felt a delicious bbq smell around. Decided to investigate. We were delightfully greeted by Nano who offered our dogs a piece of chicken (that my wife decided to take too lol).Later Nano wanted us to try his special sauce and offered us additional slices that were delicious.All of this free of charge and just being genuinely nice.We were so hungry that we decided to buy a bbq pack and eat there.It’s a great place and we can’t wait to be back.Nano is a blessed man.

"You can now enjoy our Hawaiian BBQ on Friday and Saturday. Serving from the grill 11AM -7PM" Oh boy oh boy. 12/23/2023 I dined at Nano's Ohana cafe. Arriving in preparation for some excellent hawaiian bbq I was quickly met with being told that there is no bbq available. Uhhhh 2 days a week u guys got this "bbq" but when I show up it's not available? Didn't even show up within the first hour, the second hour, the third hour, but during the fourth hour of this "bbq" to be denied the riches that is an excellent plate of hawaiian food. Disappointed is an understatement. 3 small bowls of food and two spam musubis ran us about 84 plus 4 waters and a beer. If your thinking bang for your buck you are sorely mistaken buddy. This is not a repeat nor a recommendation. In another life Nano's Ohana Cafe but just not this one. 4.7/10

Homey, laid-back vibe. Pick up Spam Musubi, or a Loco Moco. Grab a beer and watch the game in the back patio.Relax while your kids play in the spacious area.
I really enjoy this small town, hole in the wall Hawaiian restaurant. It takes me back to my 12 years in Hawaii ❤️ ordering food tonight for takeout ??husband to pick it up. Chicken Plate my fav?Bar outside so beach town like:) Enjoy.
Good shaved ice. Spam musubi was good. They have a lot of options. The line was pretty long but it goes quick. Good service and friendly staff.

Had shaved ice the past two nights here. So yummy. Had coconut ice cream one night and vanilla the next topped with lychee, pineapple and passion fruit syrups and a snow cap. Got a large, split between my family of 4. So good!
