Every time I visit HMB, I stop by Sam’s. This time I didn’t have my dog so I sat inside. The food was wonderful, as usual. The chowder is a bit celery-heavy for my taste, but delicious nonetheless.
We hadn't dined here in quite a while but we're glad that we came for lunch Saturday. It was a beautiful sunny day! Sam's is really popular and fills up fast. Luckily we had reservations and got a window table. They have outside, inside seating and a nice size bar with some high top tables. What we ordered was delicious! We were there when they opened and got the Dungeness Crab Cakes and large clam coffee to bring home after a stop by to pick up sourdough bread bowls because they do not offer them anymore.
Good was just as delicious and my pops described, will be back, and you can't beat the location.
There was a line forming before they opened....
