Great service, clean, nice atmosphere. I had the blueberry pancakes. The pancakes themselves were delicious and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, they were pretty spare with the blueberries. There should have been more given the upcharge. And the syrup was oddly not sweet? I kept adding more, but it didn't seem to make a difference. It was really thick syrup, too. Like unnaturally thick. They need to get a better quality syrup, or offer maple as an extra. I would go back,...
Came to give this eatery a try as I came into Half Moon Bay. Service was excellent, my servers were very polite and attended to our requests as kindly as possible. It did not take a long time for our orders to arrive at our table, and the food was delicious.
I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with house fries, and I savored every bite. I’ll admit I was a tad skeptical about the large potato dice, and was anticipating that the taters weren’t cooked well,...

From the outside, Sam’s doesn’t look like much, but inside, it’s cozy and inviting. A classic breakfast spot. Nothing fancy.
We had the Eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros—both were good. Portion sizes were good.
However, in my opinion, the prices are quite high for a classic breakfast. The Huevos Rancheros was $20 and the eggs Benedict were $19. A cup of tea is $4. To me that is a little steep.
