Whats going on with them currently? Hardly ever open, and when they are very very little to offer amd never any eggeolls available either. They used to be so good...now,no real hours or items...so sad ?

I am surprised by the bad reviews...I am local to HMB and go here as often as I can when I can get there early enough in the day. You have to get there early you like specific donuts since they sell out of the donuts and usually the egg rolls daily and close by early afternoon. I generally get a variety of 4-5 donuts each time I go and have never been disappointed with any of them. I get a few extra when I go since the donuts still taste great after a few days. The only negative I could say is that they only take cash but I am fine with that if I can support a local business!

Donuts were stale and tasteless. I brought them back to the old Asian lady running the place and she refused to replace the stale donut with a fresh one. Stay away from this place. There is a Dunkin Donuts across the street.

Sunshine has the best donuts ever!!Ask any local cop. The owners are the hardest working people you will ever meet.Skip the franchise donut over priced terrible service. Get yourself a lil sunshine.

Nice employee, big selection of good doughnuts, good coffee and plenty of parking - who can ask for anything more!

Visiting Half Moon Bay and stopped here late morning (a little after 10am) on a Thursday. They had a few muffins and less than 2 dozen donuts left in the case. We had a chocolate bar and sugar, ($1-1.25 each) they did not taste fresh baked. But the staff was friendly and I see how this place would have potential. Next time we will have to come earlier for a larger selection.

I have to say for the price I paid for 1 donut I could have had several that were better at other donut places I go to. My donut that I ordered was large and tasted like a lot of bread with a bland frosting on top.

Open early, always friendly and who knew egg rolls and coffee would pair so well together for breakfast. I love this place!

Really the best. I grew up in San Mateo and this place reminds me of the old Happy Donuts I went to as a kid. Donuts are always super fresh and flavorful. We go early on weekends for the best selection. Their apple fritter has been a major pregnancy craving of mine and hits the spot every time.

This place has been a local favorite for 20+ years and still going. The egg rolls have been a favorite of mine since I was in high school too. Friendly staff. It's obvious they have a following. The few low ratings that recommend donut time in Pacifica...well...donut time is no longer in business so...‍
