THE FOOD IS GREAT! THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON THEIR PRICES. I only eat vegetarian rolls and being born and raised in HMB I use to go here a lot. It's by far the best variety of vegetarian rolls I've ever seen. But in the last 5 years the price for my vegetarian rolls has more then doubled. Sorry but I'm not paying $9-10 dollars for 5 pieces of rice and mushrooms... it use to be $4.25 or $4.75. The place used to be packed all the time. Now it's like a dead zone. With shiki around the block offering bigger portions for the same or less money... I've always been anti shiki but I can't afford to eat at main street anymore. It's $70 before tip for my 8 year old son and I to eat dinner there, without drinks.

This is a well-established, great restaurant for Japanese sushi style food. The service was good, the food excellent and the location very convenient. Since it's not on the main street parking is easy.

This place was a great place to stop and get a bite but we got our order to go to enjoy when we got to our hotel but for me the portions were small for the prices but well worth the flavors tiny place with bar style sitting as well as tables and chairs also a adorable option to wear u can sit Chinese style on the floor with a table absolutely gorgeous place.
Parking: We had to do a few loops but we found a spot down the street.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly if your kid likes sushi or rice and meat options
Wheelchair accessibility: It was not accessible it had a couple of stairs

My favorite place for Sushi and Bento Boxes in Half Moon Bay! Delicious food, great service, and nice atmosphere.I like this place MUCH better than the higher rated Hangetsu Sushi.

Had a really bad teriyaki sauce on their beef bento box and unagi rolls. Had a strong pungent after taste and was not enjoyable. Was not offered new food or any service when brought up with wait staff. Didn't want to be rude but could not stomach the taste and had to pay and leave.

Many of the rolls, and even one of the combo specials, are vegan, and they easily can make any of the vegetarian items vegan by omitting certain sauces and the egg.
I asked for the tamago on the side as I was sharing with a non-vegan who still wanted that. However they put the omelette right next to the vegan rolls which was annoying.
