Bad cuts. It looked like there was anisakis parasite on the chef special sashimi platter. One rule to live by: never get sushi in a tourist town.

Gone way downhill from a few years ago. Fish was hacked up, not fresh, and they added a strange seasoning on the rice detracting from the flavor of the fish. No more specials board. Very disappointing!!!

Fish not that fresh. They have a strange take on Japanese food. They dumped spices on hamachi kama, made it too spicy for my little ones didn't enjoy it. We will not be returning. When I shared my concerns the food server said, "That is how we make it".

Many of the rolls, and even one of the combo specials, are vegan, and they easily can make any of the vegetarian items vegan by omitting certain sauces and the egg.
I asked for the tamago on the side as I was sharing with a non-vegan who still wanted that. However they put the omelette right next to the vegan rolls which was annoying.

As a local, I strive to support local business. I had fond memories of this place back in the day when the place was vibrant and packed with patrons. They were the only sushi place in town. We decided to try this place again after a hiatus, and was unfortunately disappointed with the food. The sushi, while presented nicely, was not fresh and the sukiyaki was mediocre, with very tough beef. 2 stars as the staff was very kind and pleasant. The place could use an uplift as the tables felt sticky and chairs seemed worn. We were the only ones dining over the lunch hour. There are much better places to enjoy Japanese food on the coast.

We have enjoyed Sushi on Main Street for over 25 years, but this was our first visit in three years.We had the prime rib and gyoza appetizers. I ordered the black cod entree dinner.The food was flavorful and the cod was cooked perfectly.Know that the entree portions, like most restaurants post-pandemic, are smaller than before, so fill up on appetizers or sushi.
Agree 110% with the bad reviews. It was the worst bento box I’ve ever had and kind of ruined a nice little afternoon in HMB. Bummer.

Service was not the best, the guy taking our order seemed annoyed we were even ordering just one sushi to go order. The sushi surely was not the best, in fact borderline gross. I got the double rainbow roll, which HIGHLY lacked raw fish on top. The quality is so low grade, definitely one of the worst sushi places I've ever been to. If you know what real quality raw sushi is, don't come to this place you'll surely be disappointed. Tastes like sprout sushi or something. Super disappointed

The place was very hot. I ordered the salmon bento box. Everything was bad. The salmon was burnt on the bottom but not cooked all the way thru. The rice was hard. The sushi was warm. The only good thing was the salad it came with. Miso soup was too cold. Just the worst meal I’ve ever had. The staff was so help at all.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible!! Very small place could barely fit a stroller.

Quality sushi. Clean and quick. Kind service with a smile. My favorite is the ramen, maguro nigiri and pork dumplings. Only issue is the tables are not flat.

Service ok, ambiance ok...sushi was grey, and undistinguishable. Imitation crab looked old, rubbery, and inedible. Tempura had a very think batter, and was greasy. I don't even want to think about what I was eating
