I went in passing with my wife, precisely because it is right on the road.
When we entered, 3 people in the front who were talking to each other, looked at us and continued talking for a change until one of them decided to want to serve us. A tall man with glasses, who I don't know if he didn't feel like working but I had to repeat to him about 4 times that I didn't want SOUR CREAM in my quesadilla.
Now, when I request the SUPER QUESADILLA, and they bring it to me... they bring me a couple of tortillas with meat and a little bit of cheese. So I ask the waitress if they are confused and she tells me no, that the large quesadilla I want is one called GIANT which costs about 20 dollars.
According to them, the "COMMON" quesadilla that they sell in any taqueria (I have been to many), is the one they know as GIANT, that is, the largest.
On top of it, it had no flavor, pure fat. And they charge you dearly.
Then, my wife ordered a plate of roast beef and they brought her the SOUR cream, mixed with the avocado cream.
It looked like vomit, he didn't even feel like eating it.
Bad experience, they take advantage because since they are on the highway, people are passing by and have no choice but to eat there.
I don't recommend it.

I bought a couple of burritos, chicken quesadillas, and a couple of tacos. All my orders were watery and didn't feel like eating it. Their customer service was good, but their chefs didn't know what they were doing when making food. Chefs or cooks need more training on how to cook and prepare food. Just because of their cooks, I'll give 2/5 and customer services 4/5.

The food here is very good! Pretty well priced too and has quite some vegetarian options. The salsa was especially delicious.

Quite tasty. Stopped here on road trip down the coast from SF. Burrito (veggie) was enormous but it was so nice I finished it off. The little included salsa and chips bar (emphasis on salsa) went well with burrito. Daughter had a quesadilla that she liked.
I accidentally left behind my backpack with some very important things. We discovered it was missing 1.5 hours away and drive back. They found it for us (via telephone) and saved it for us. Cannot express how relieved we were to recover it.

If you are looking for a delicious Mexican restaurant in Half Moon Bay, look no further! The food is authentic and very tasty! We ordered chorizo, asada, and carnitas tacos, a flauta plate and a super burrito a la Diablo with buche. Each item was sooooo good! The tacos were absolutely loaded with meat and the meat tasted fresh like it was just cooked! The flautas were super crispy and the chicken inside was juicy, not dry. The lettuce was crisp and fresh as well. The beans and rice were also good! The highlight was the burrito a la diabla because the sauce was very tasty. Not too spicy and had a whole lot of flavor!! The buche was very good!! Loved the food!
Further, there is a chips and salsa bar that is unlimited. The chips are not the best but they definitely are good to snack on with some pico and salsa!
You order at the register and then go find a seat and a server walks around calling out the number until they find you and bring your food to you.
They have high chairs.

The breakfast burrito was average and the coffee was pretty bad. Hopefully their lunch and dinner offerings are better.

We stopped for lunch on our trip down PCH-1 and we were happy we did! My daughter ordered a quesadilla and said it was the best she ever had. I don't recall what I ordered, but it was excellent. We also had a side of chips and salsa. They had many kinds of salsa to choose from in their salsa bar. We ate outside in the covered patio and enjoyed the weather. I'm glad we found Taqueria Tres Amigos!
