It surprises me how many 5 star reviews this place has. While the prices are low, so is the quality of food. We’ve tried it twice now and both times have been underwhelmed by our meals. I got the chicken and waffles, and the chicken was overcooked chicken nuggets. The second meal came with fries that were so over cooked they were hardly edible. The water they serve is brown and undrinkable, and they up-charge for everything.

I think the move is to get classic breakfast meals from here, they seem to be what people are the most pleased with.

A quiet place and what I love is that they have very good music and the food is very delicious, my favorite is the Nutella crepes🤤

Doesn't look like much from the outside but looks are deceiving. Food was excellent. I had the "patron Benedict " my lady had the " blue burger 🍔 " we both left 😋 very pleased. I will be returning to this place shortly !

Space was clean and staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and energetic. So many coffee refills! My Mexican omelet had very little flavor in the actual omelet but when eaten with the salsa was delicious. Fresh and delicious ingredients. Home potatoes needed salt. You could tell it was a fan favorite and I liked their quote wall in the back room.

Pretty traditional breakfast place- not a lot of bells and whistles here. We enjoyed everything we had, but it’s not our favorite breakfast spot in HMB. Service was quick and food came out super fast! Biscuits and gravy are good- really like the gravy but the biscuits were almost too fluffy and did not absorb gravy well, we wanted them a bit crispier. We would come back- especially to try the mimosas they have some fun looking flights and lots of coffee options!

Wouldn’t know how the food is. We weren’t even allowed in because I had my water bottle with me and they don’t allow "any outside food or drink.” I go everywhere with a water bottle. I don’t know if they are worried they are going to lose beverage money by letting people in with a water bottle, but now they’re losing all the money I would have spent there for me and my husband.

Amazing staff, huge menu, the pancakes were the best ever, and OMG their homemade salsa was so good, I ate it with a spoon!

If you don't eat here you have missed out on an AMAZING breakfast experience. There are no words on how delicious the food was, the service was over the top (in the best way) and the place was clean (including the bathrooms).
I have food allergies and asked the server if he knew what brand the GF bread was, he did not. I said "that's ok" and left it alone. A few mins later he returned with the bag that the GF bread came in, so that I could verify the ingredients! I've never had a server do this, and it was SO HELPFUL because for the first time in years, I was able to eat toast with my breakfast at a restaurant. Seems like a silly thing but for someone who normally can't enjoy a piece of toast when I'm out to eat, it made my whole day.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend this place!

Great breakfast spot in Half Moon Bay. Food is great. Ask for the fresh jalapeño serrano peppers on the side and enjoy the added heat for a perfect breakfast.
