This place is the best! We took our whole family here after walking the HMB beach path Easter morning. My husband and I have a 3 year old boy, a 10 month old girl as well as a (lazy) bulldog and everyone enjoyed this place! The food was delish--I had the burger with arugula and buttermilk ranch & my hubby had the fried chicken sando-- to both! The drinks were so refreshing, I had the hazy IPA and the hubby had a regular IPA, the hazy was better imo. The ambiance in the dog area exceeded our expectations. They have music playing outside and it's totally a vibe for the whole family. I would highly recommend this place. Just be aware they are closed Monday & Tuesday.

1. The best shakes on the coast! I love their chocolate shakes. 2. I love the barn for so many reasons. I love the vibe, and he owner is very present and extremely involved with the restaurant and I enjoy to see how great he his with his staff. 3. My children are huge fans of their Mac attacks. I was there yesterday and ordered shakes and Mac attacks. I love the barn, their staff and outdoor area. Yesterday while at the barn picking up my order I witness a rude customer who was being very rude to a staff member, speaking to them like if they were idiots, she was out of line...you should ashamed of yourself lady! Treat others with respect! I actually took video and a picture and would love to post her behavior but I am not going to do that. To the barn staff: you guys rock!

Friendly staff, ok quality food, good burgers, great variety of sides and dessert, handful of beer and wine to try, pretty high prices for any of the milkshakes/food for what you get at this small outside

Best place to stop for a bite or a drink. My family loved the laid back atmosphere - nice, enclosed area for dining where the kids could play lawn games and we could keep a close eye on them while we enjoyed some great food and a beer. The fried mac n cheese was so good! Great burgers and sandwiches, too. Will definitely be going back!

Best veggie burger on the coast, and believe me, I have tried them all! My kiddos love the mac-attack and the amazing milkshakes. The staff is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is cozy, with blankets to snuggle with on chillier days.

Had a chicken sandwich, was a nice meal decent value. Wish they had soda on tap. Was a nice way to spend sunny Saturday lunch with my wife.
Been there twice now. I think. I've had the chili dog both times cuz I couldn't remember what I got last time but good place to get a hot dog here. Not very many places. Do hot dogs in this town. Thanks,

Great spot right on the edge of Pacific ocean! The restaurant itself is small but the seating is vast and all outdoors. It has a great outdoor seating and a small play area for kids. The food variety also has plenty of options and kids loved the Mac attack! Their fries and shakes are also great! As a vegetarian, their pretender burger was good and so was their salad of the day.Vegetarian options: Not the largest selection of vegetarian options but enough to keep it interesting and allow the family to enjoy the spot!

Food looked promising, but fell flat on flavor. Had pulled pork sandwich, chili, grilled cheese and fries. Milkshake price is way too high for the size and flavor. Paid more to add whipped cream and it tasted like onions. Ironically, the crispy onions, which were another add on, didn't have much flavor. The fries were the only things that were great. The place is cute.

While staying in Half Moon Bay this became my favourite locale to dine at. I enjoyed their fresh berry lemonade (try adding a shot if you're feeling cheeky), Barn Burger and a secret menu item known among the locals ( 'Wheres the Beef' with fried chicken and pickles added!) The Barn is seriously serving up some of the best burgers on the 1 (and trust me we made it all the way down to San Diego!) and so if you're passing by or just live in the area and haven't gone yet I cant recommend it enough! Now that I'm back in Australia I cant stop craving the food so will be planning another visit to CA soon!Vegetarian options: They have options for every item to be made vegetarian :)Kid-friendliness: This place is very kid friendly! They were offering the kids colouring books and activities.
