Nobody knew what the price of the pizza was not even the guy at the register ... in the parking lot sits the delivery car that's not even registered to drive on the road tags are expired I just find it odd when none of the workers

don't know the price that work there somebody help me out

Absolutely disgraceful business, also very slow and arrogant staff I definitely do not recommend this place

I really like the pizza. It's tasty and fresh and there are a few options. Small place and service is sometimes a bit slow. There is a choice of beverages as well.
Great stop after a bike ride or with the kids.

I've craved a good NY style pizza for years here in Cali and recently had some when I was back in New England and was sad thinking it would take another year or so before I'd have some more but was SO happy to try some of this and it was SO good! It was perfectly crispy at the bottom and the sauce is exactly what I think of when I think of NY style pizza (went to college on Long Island so I really know what NY pizza is like lol). Even more amazing is they felt they over heated my slice so they didn't even try to give that to me and just apologized for it taking a bit longer but wanted to give me a good slice! Love that level of quality control ❤️ we WILL be back! I especially love that the prices are very reasonable for the bay area!

Update: we did come back and it's just as good, if not better than I remember! It's perfectly crispy, the sauce is exactly how I have tasted NY pizza while in NY for college, and my son ate almost a whole piece by himself, despite it being close to the size of his head 🤣 do yourself the favor and come have some fantastic pizza!

the best pizza i've had in a while !
we were searching for places to eat & this one stood out from the positive ratings, we decided to give it a chance, and it did not disappoint XL was a perfect size for 3-4 ppl.

The pizza was delicious! Great sauce and crust - I’m from the east coast, so I’ve been pretty disappointed with CA pizza. This spot was an awesome surprise!!!

They also have a ton of vegan and vegetarian options!

NY slice was decent, however they didn’t reheat the pizza sitting in the display case long enough. It came out warm, cheese was still solid solid and the overall taste was mid. Would be better if they actually heated the pizza just a minute or 2 longer in the oven. The Sicilian style wasn’t bad. Large portion, sauce is good, but also had the same issue - it wasn’t heated enough. I’m sure fresh whole pizzas are probably better so I’ll give them another try, but will order an entire pie next time.

If you are getting just a single slice, I recommend asking them to heat it “well done.”

I just popped in for a slice, having no idea that HMB had any NY style pizza. I had the puttanesca and it was fantastic. The perfect little lunch. Very friendly staff too.

Great pizza but horrible service. Ordered at 4pm for a 6pm pickup and had to wait a full 30 minutes for my pizza when I showed up at 6. This has happened every_single_time I have ordered from here. What is the point of ordering ahead if you have to wait half an hour? I think they don't start the pizza until you sure up. Multiple other people were waiting for their food as well. I get that occasionally you can be short staffed, but this has been their modus operandi for years now.

Authentic and delicious New York style pizza. 🍕🍅🍕 I got two fresh out of the oven cheese pizza slices, and let me tell you, everything about it was *chef’s kiss*.👩🏽‍🍳😘 The crust was baked to perfection and tantalizingly sour, the cheese was hot and gooey, and the tomato sauce was generous and so sharp, tangy, and fresh-fresh.🤤 Happy to have randomly stumbled upon this rare gem; NY style ‘za and good ‘za in general is impossible to find in the SF Bay Area. This is now my favorite pizza shop around here!

Delicious delicious pizza, closest thing I’ve had to authentic New York style pizza. I love to go in for slices and whole pizzas for the family. Really appreciate their menu accommodations. Pizzas are made super fast and super high quality. The owner is very kind and very hardworking you can always count on seeing how making the pizzas daily. Additionally they have deserts and a large drink selection available. 11/10 recommend.
