They don't have many selections. The fried chickens are finely cooked. They haven two menus. If you pick food from the fried chicken one, they don't serve side dishes. It's a bit disappointed when you enter a Korean restaurant without side dishes served.

OKAY WOW!!! I have lived in hayward about 10 years, and this place always looked so sketch to me but we finally decided to give it a try... WHOOOOO SOOO GOOD! they have Korean BBQ and Korean fried chicken (kfc). The only down side the Korean BBQ is NOT all you can eat (AYCE) but they do offer "combo" options so more bang for the buck. Along with the combo plate for kbbq we ordered japchae, kfc and an extra plate of brisket. Honestly I am shocked this place was soooo good! The staff was also so nice and to the kids as well. My partner is Chinese and the way Asian cultures show love is with food... so the fact they brought out the food to the kids and their own water cups was love.. also when we were leaving they kept tapping their arms. (IDK just have to be there and understand the asian culture) Only down side we came during the BAY AREA HEAT WAVE, there is absolutely no AC in there plus the grills are cooking.. so we will be back during cooler times :) BUT we definitely will be back

Absolutely terrible service! I think it is the owner. We ordered 4 main dish one side dish. 6 people. One set of side dish: include two pieces of potato. Ok that's no problem Korean restaurant always let you refill. Then we asked for more three times, the waiter said ok but never came. When the side dish finally came this lady tied up her hair curly said this is your last refill. I was like what last refill? She only refilled it twice- also I never heard Korean restaurant don't refill side dishes. We won't be back, the food are not good also it is dirty, the tables are sticky and the environment is not very good. Rude customer service and overpriced for small portion.

Excellent service by two ladies, they were quick and very nice to customers. Bbq was delicious along with fried chicken - you have a choice to DYI or they cooked from kitchen.

Chicken menu from Ttobongi is nice. Traditional Korean dishes such as green onion pancake, spicy seafood soup, and other dishes were as decent as they were before the menu change. I didn't try the marinated beef since they're not the focus of this restaurant anymore. Recommended for those that want Korean food with soju on the side.

First time trying this place even tho its only about 5 mins from my house, but cant believe I havent tried sooner!! The look and feel outside gives you that nostalgic OG restaurant feel, when you walk inside, you feel the same way as well. Came on a Thursday night for a takeout order. They looked pretty busy as well. The person who helped us with our pick up order was nice in communicating with us that they were out of some items for banchan, and that she'll give us double next time :D We waiting maybe 20 minutes after getting there to receive all our food. I just remember it smelling soooo good when we grabbed the bags. What I got and how I rate them: -Corn Cheese (8/10) -Combo 3 (10/10) -Spicy Teokbokki (8/10) -Japchae (9/10) -Beef Soup (8/10) (not pictured) Combo 3 was a good choice bc you get a variety of meats. Everything was really yummy and flavorful, and they definitely give you a goood amount of food. It was one of those things where you open the take out boxes and say "WOW". The total for this came to like ~$130ish? But it fed 5 people well :) Overall...I will definitely come back here to try more items esp the Yang Nyum Chicken!! So glad I finally came to this place.

We stopped in recently for KBBQ and also had a few other dishes as well (tofu soup, tteokbokki, japchae, bibimbap). The BBQ is gas (rather than charcoal) and the lava rocks didn't look like they've ever been cleaned or replaced. The meat was pretty average, especially the pork belly, which looked like it had been frozen and thawed. The chicken thigh was pretty good - nice marinade, super juicy - and the bulgolgi and spicy pork were both decent as well. Side dishes were pretty average and were not refilled automatically when empty. We had to ask multiple times and after a while, they just stopped coming. The worst part of the experience was the service. They spent a lot of time with a table of friends, chatting and cooking their bbq for them, and left us to fend for ourselves. The restaurant itself wasn't very busy and the service fell way short of what you'd get at any place in LA.

The sign has changed but the Korean BBQ inside is still excellent. Very pleasant, attentive service, tasty food and plenty of side dishes to experiment with. If you have time and opportunity, go for the proper Korean BBQ experience with grilling your own meat on the table. You wont regret it. Me and a friend come here quite often for lunch because we can appreciate both excellent service, large portion sizes and fantastic quality of the meat. Beef, spicy pork or spicy chicken all good choices to try. They also have seafood options available, prawns, squid etc, but well marinated meat is the number one choice for the BBQ. Tofu soup and Bi Bim Bop can be good too if BBQ combo alone is not enough for your group. Sadly the prices have been going up like everywhere else, but overall well worth it.

Great place. The prices seem high, but wait till you see the portions. The extra little dishes that come with every meal are terrific. The only real down side to Korea House is that the service is slow. Come on a night you have time to enjoy the food.

Great service and good. The soft Tofu soup was very flavorful with lots of umami and a very pleasant heat. Seafood pancake was also fried just right, with a really crisp crust and soft center. Banchan were also very tasty. Ordered the bibimbap as well and it was good. Generous portion sizes as well!

Korea House has been here for a while. The sign changed so we thought the business changed. Well they still do offer Korean BBQ. The food is good and they have a huge menu selection to choose from. They have lots of different types of Korean chicken to choose from which is new. If you want good local Korean food without a long drive then give them a try.

I love ordering the lunch bento here. They use Charcoal to grill their meat. It's very flavorful and affordable. Pretty consistent and customer service is great. Very friendly. Definitely recommend.
