Excellent Italian food (pasta, seafood, etc.) Great drinks and extensive wine selection menu.

Acqua E'Farina is a little gem in Hayward. Doesn't look like much on the outside, BUT it has become a favorite of ours. The "Mural Room" is absolutely charming. Our server last night was a very perky and efficient lady named Eleny. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. The cocktails are excellent, too. We had a table of 4 and everyone of us had something different: Petrale Sole, Lasagne, Canneloni and Veal Saltimbocca. Can't wait to go back !!

Love this place. Food is always excellent. Food is served hot and consistent in taste and presentation. Service is excellent. Only complaint is when the resturant is full the noise level makes it difficult to have conversation.

Apparently, there is a dance studio next-door to the restaurant. They play very loud music and it interferes with the ability to enjoy a meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Daniel, our waiter was great! Even though it was New Year's Eve. the normal menu was available at the normal cost along with some specials. I highly recommend this venue for New Year's Eve or any other time.

Great local eats at this Italian restaurant. I have brought multiple family members here and it never disappoints. Good food, wine, and desserts.

Amazing food! Ordered calamari as an appetizer, crispy, hot and came with two sauces, both delicious. Bread served, was one sourdough/french and a herbed bread. Both fresh and soft! I ordered the Calamari steak wtih assorted veges and polenta. Polenta was more like a risotto, but still abolutely delicious. The calamar was a huge serving size with a lemon white sauce with capers and tangy flavor, cooked perfect. Veges a la dente. Atmosphere is cute, like a little italy paints in the walls. It's a hidden gem. Parking is extremly difficult for anyone with an SUV, I drove around for 20 minutes, regardless of how many lots they have. My counter parts have smaller cars and didn't have as difficult time as I did finding parking. Everyone loved their meals and happy we came since I travled from Livermore to try it. I will most definitely return to this hidden gem of an itailian restaurant. Service was fantastic as well!

This is why I love Mom and Pop restaurants. A family owned business that really treats you like you are one of their own. The food was delicious, very nice ambience. This is a place. I hope my family I come to for a decades to come.

Royal treatment excellent hospitality! Great server outstanding selection! Celebrated mom’s birthday enjoyed the antipasto, calamari, wedge salad and couple other items for lunch. Topped it off with tiramisu with a candle . We were visiting from out of town but will return for sure !

Best Italian restaurant in Hayward - though admittedly it's not a high bar. Nevertheless, service is great, bartenders are able to make different types of drinks and the food is good. Changing up the menu every quarter wouldn't be a bad idea.

The servers are supper knowledgeable and attentive. The space sort of has the traditional tavern vibe and nice decor. I've had the cappellini e pomodoro and it's the best pasta I have ever had. I always make sure to eat too much bread before my pasta so I have leftovers the next day (it's even better the second day)

Friendly, attentive, competent.
We went on a busy Friday night and were served relatively promptly.
This is a big restaurant, with cozy feel in different areas of it.

Eggplant Parmesan and Polenta were very good, but was disappointed with the Brushetta. Not very flavorful.
