Today is February 6, 2024 it was my first time eating at this restaurant. I was a Hispanic lady there and she was rude and very unprofessional. When she brought my pancake she brought it with no syrup so I had to ask another person for syrup when that person brought me syrup it was cold straight out the refrigerator which I didn’t realize because the handle wasn’t cold. So when I poured some on my pancake my pancake was freezing cold. When I mentioned it to the lady which come to find out she’s the manager she got mad and said syrup suppose to be cold I said no it suppose to be room temperature or warm. She did all the unprofessionalism in front of customers and said how about you don’t come back. I responded and said how about you go to any restaurant that serves pancakes or waffles and see that their syrup is not in the freezer. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone only because of the services and frozen syrup!!!!!!

My husband and I ended up here on a whim and it was the best decision of the day. The staff upon arrival was warm and welcoming and they maintained the same level of service throughout the visit. The food, might I add I'm not a fan of restaurant Mexican food at all, was AMAZING. It could have been just what I ordered so I'll have to visit again and try other meals but the choice for that day was nopales, chorizo and eggs and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere for my taste was 5 stars because I love little hole in the wall places that feel like home vs hustle n bustle big crowded locations but taking into consideration I'm an introvert and my preference doesn't reflect the masses I opted for 4 stars. Highly recommend if your in town.

Cute and cozy cafe located on the corner of Jackson and Winton Ave in Hayward, Ca. The staff is friendly and Ive always received a good hot plate fresh to order. Typical American and Mexican breakfast options. I enjoyed the eggs and cactus ? with rice beans and tortillas. Waffles are tasty, apple sausage,French toast, eggs and tomatoes, veggie omelettes,veggie burritos, tuna sandwiches.Vegetarian options: Options to choose burritos,omelettes,eggs and tomatoes with rice and beans,fruit,oatmeal,toast,waffles,french toast, Anna's salad.

I've been living in Hayward for the last 3 years and always wanted to come here. I decided to come today they service was horrible we left. We sat down and these two old white ladies came in after us and they started helping them like we wasn't even there. When we said something, instead of coming over to help us they still continue with the two old white ladies. I will never be back to this establishment. It was beyond horrible and trash.Just because we are black we still need to get treated just like everybody else. But I forget this is America so what else do you expect.
