Bobjip is a Korean restaurant located inside the East Bay Eats food hall in downtown Hayward. The space is very cool inside with plenty of clean space to eat, though it is more like a takeout food court with only about four tables. The menu has so much to choose from, including kimbap, jajangmyun, soondubu, tteokbokki, dakgangjeong (sweet crispy Korean fried chicken), wang yubu chobap, gun-man-du, and jjam bbong myeon. The fried chicken is so good, sweet and spicy. Dishes like the spicy chicken and rice are actually pretty spicy, and the tofu skin stuffed with fillings is also liked.
The food is absolutely delicious, made with love, and every dish tried is really good. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and broths are rich, flavorful, and packed with a spicy kick. Ingredients are fresh. Most items are in the $20 range, but the servings are huge and generous, which makes it worth it. It is a fantastic spot to get a Korean food fix in the area, with many more items that customers want to go back and try. Ordering online is easy, and delivery is prompt.
