The food is okay. The bread that comes with the table is soft but the sauce isn’t anything special. The garlic bread’s toppings taste the same as little Caesar’s crazy bread. Whether that’s good or not you can decide. Maybe an off day but my risotto was overcooked akin to a tomato porridge. Otherwise the risotto tasted okay but the texture was off. The lamb is flavorful, the wine comes out clearly in the sauce. Most dishes were just okay tasting, service was also okay, at least you can get fresh shredded Parmesan and ground pepper.

My parents and I decided to go to Buon Appetito for my dad's birthday and it's one of the best Italian restaurants in Hayward. Pretty well setup inside especially with how utensils, glasses, napkins, and plates are organized. It also looks nice inside especially at a larger dining area where there weren't anyone there when I got here. They also have a patio too, but no one goes outside since it's cold now.
The food is really delicious here. We were given normal sized plates and I'm surprised that the food seems small from the outside but volume of it says otherwise. It could be the ingredients that they used to make our meals.
I seen dishes like Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti Bolognese, which are very common dishes, but I don't want either of them. So I got Fettuccine alla Friuliana. It's mostly fettuccine with Italian sausages and tomato sauce. That dish really hits the spot especially when cheese makes it more flavorful. I also tried my parents' dishes and they're as good as the one I got.
For dessert, we got tiramisu. I love how it sprinkled with cocoa powder I believe as well as topping it off with some sort of cream I think. They actually blend well with that dessert. Honestly, they should have but it in a smaller plate to match the food-to-plate ratio.
Overall, it's one of the best Italian restaurants out there. If you're looking for Italian cuisine here in Hayward, this is one of the spots I recommend coming into. You won't be missing out!

This place sucks. Outside Italy it's the best you've had? What Italy did you go to? Waiters rude, food subpar and the bourgeois atmosphere is no where near Italy. I've eaten better Italian food in a Sicilian deli in Rome. Please. Gimme a break. Probably only because there is not many quality Italian places to go to in Hayward. It's a facade. I think people want to make it into what they want to.
