I used to eat here all the time when I was a kid and I remembered it as a great place for a good burger. I’ve heard this place changed ownership and wanted to see if it’s still good as I remember. I got the Double Bulky Bacon Cheeseburger, with Fries and a butterscotch milkshake. I have to say the burger did not let me down. It was a pretty good size burger the meat was still juicy inside and it was a bit messy with their burger sauce but it added good flavor. It had shredded lettuce, tomato, and pickles as well. The fries were shoestring that was lightly seasoned with salt and they were still a little soft not too crispy which I like with those fries. If you like them crispy ask for them to be well done. The butterscotch milkshake was nice and thick, just wish it had more butterscotch flavor. Overall I really enjoyed everything and as far as price wise with all the price hikes everywhere else, it’s still a good deal for its price.

Paid 15$ for a bulky bacon burger with no bacon. I even left a 5$ tip it's Tragic. Plus the fries and onion rings were cold not even 10 min after I ordered. Always check your order this isn't the first time they forgot the bacon in a bulky bacon burger.

I have been coming to Cecils Burgers for over 20 years. It has always been good, fresh, tasty and a decent price. We usually go twice a month, and today when I came to pick up our food it was a lot more for one thing, then I noticed 4 men working with new blue aprons. I've not seen these men before so I asked, are you the new owners? And the young man taking my money said yes, and smiled. I replied I've been coming here over 20 years, don't change it, haha. We ordered 2 Bacon cheeseburgers 2 fries and 1 coke. It came up quick, and off to home I go. Well....Lets just say, you can tell they do not have the same quality as before. The fries were hard, I'm not talking crispy, I mean hard. The burger had about 5 shreds of lettuce and very dry. The bacon was so hard you could tell it was precooked set aside and then thrown on the grill before putting it on the burgers, (almost broke a tooth) and the meat, if you can even call it that, was so overcooked it was so tough to chew, probably also precooked, just in case they got busy...I am sad that this has happened as we loved Cecils. I have such bad heartburn and THAT has never happened before. I will not be going back. My husband and I have worked in restaurants all our lives, and know when things change and the food quality is bad, for the most part what has happened. Some people think it is easy to own and operate a burger place, feed em slop and they'll eat it and pay good money for it too...But that usually isn't the case. For a few cents more on your bottom line now, you lose it all later, when no one comes to buy your product. Well good luck to the new owners, we for sure will not be back. I need some tums...

It is such a huge let down that this place is destined to go down the toilet and become just another poor excuse of a "local burger joint." I grew up going to this spot for the past 30 years. It was a staple of the community and the original owners never wavered when it came to price or quality except when it was absolutely necessary. The downward spiral began 3 months ago when they started removing items off the original menu. Then they completely "revamped" the menu in a similar fashion to the Dairy Belle down the street. I tried to stay optimistic. Then they raised the prices by a ridiculous amount. The pastrami burger was $9 and was bumped up to $14. So I assumed that the hike in price was put in place in order to keep the quality at the same level. I ordered fish and chips tonight (an item that was never on the menu until now) for $10 plus tax this evening. It was a poor excuse for a piece of fish. Clearly a frozen piece of plastic thrown into the fryer with absolutely no flavor or love put into it. Mark my words. THIS PLACE IS TRASH NOW. And it will only worsen with time. Just another copy and paste excuse for an authentic neighborhood burger spot. It breaks my heart but I will probably never eat here again. So a round of applause for the new owners, who turned an absolute gem into a regurgitated, formulaic, dime of dozen burger spot. You've destroyed years of authenticity and integrity in one fell swoop. Good luck lasting longer than a year. As a note: this is my wife's account

First time visiting Cecil's Burger, and it was an OK experience compared to my normal visit to 1/4lb Giant Burger. I ordered the Pastrami Burger with cheese, and was charged for cheese, but realized it was left off when I finally made it home to eat. My partner had the 1/2lb Biggie and he felt that it wasn't enough food even with the French Fries. It is definitely pricier than other non fast food chain burger joints we visit. I will only eat here when I'm craving a Pastrami Burger. Service was OK. Given this being my first time here, and getting there when no one else was in line, I was confused on what window to order or pickup. The order window was in front, street side, while pickup was on the parking lot side that I didn't even see a window! Signs would help! Added pics of the new menu as when I looked up this place prior to going and was confused when I arrived that it was all different. Also, no prices are listed on the new menu, so I really didn't know if ordering a La carte was a better option than ordering a combo meal.

After frequenting this spot for lunch on Tuesdays for four years, I've noticed some changes since the new owners took over. While they've made positive improvements like cleaning up the exterior and being more organized with orders, there are some issues worth noting. Firstly, portion sizes have decreased while prices have increased, making the value proposition less appealing. Secondly, the quality of the food has declined, with frozen broccoli and cold rice becoming disappointments. Additionally, the inconvenience of no longer being able to order over the phone and having to wait in line during lunch breaks is frustrating. The tipping prompt on the POS system, coupled with inflated costs and transaction fees, adds to the dissatisfaction. Overall, it's disheartening to see the decline of a once reputable establishment. Two stars, as a longtime customer who remembers the better days before the ownership change.

New owners terrible food, I didn't know it was new owners until I went and ordered the steak sandwich. It was soggy with a few little pieces of meat, wilted lettuce, all around a disgusting sandwich a gentleman that was getting ready to order, said to a few of us. these are new owners, and the food here is horrible now I just come for the french fries and he was right. That was the only thing good in my $60 order the steak sandwich was soggy. The hamburgers were soggy. Too bad this used to be one of my favorites it will not be any longer. New owners need to do better.

Love this place I can walk from my house to the burger place and it's 3 minutes from walking and I just love it the food is amazing and the service of phenomenal and it was so good and I would recommend it so much. I love this place and I will come back every weekend and my cousins came over and I did not know that they went to go and eat at this burger place and they said 10 out of 10 amazing and I said oh yeah, I like going there too. Honestly, it's the best place to go and get a burger.

Really good and fresh burgers. Pleasant staff and fast service. Conveniently located and they give you a buzzer for when your order is ready.

It is a walk up window only. The person who took my order was funny and friendly. The food was hot and fresh and tasty. My fries were very good. I would go back if in the area.
