They say “#1 cheesesteaks in the world” but I have to admit it is not the #1, like it’s okay but definitely not number one or number two actually probably not even number 3 so it’s just really deceptive

The best !!!!!!! Cheesesteaks ever!!!! But only Hayward location. Hayward location at Southland mall rocks !!!! New park location sucks. I've been coming to Charlie's cheesesteak for a very, very long time I used to have a store in the mall I will tell you till today and it's been 15 years that I've been having this because my husband absolutely loves the way they make their food the staff is super nice They always listen to exactly what you want. They have the perfect temperature for the grill. Never disappoint. They are so good like you want to have them all the time but we try to go there once at least in 3 to 4 months just for Charlie's so thank you guys for making it worthwhile for us to stop by you guys are the best.

They were quick to make my order but it’s like you were eating paper. No salt, no flavor, nothing. The fries were also unsalted.

I remember when the cheesesteaks were pretty good. Those days are gone. I ordered DoorDash twice from them and the orders were wrong TWICE! We ordered 2 orders of fries, and only one came, and it was in a small to go cup, which wasn't even enough for a small child, let alone an adult. If you have money to throw away, this is the perfect place for you!!

I have to say I went there today and it was THE worst sandwich I have had.. I got the Philly Cheesesteak sand which and it was a mess.. from the brown lettuce to the hard peppers .. won't be trying that location again

Older black guy claimed he was the owner is rude and disrespectful. My daughter asked him to put on gloves and he lost his shyt. We ended up getting a refund for entire meals. He did put on gloves after he realized he was being recorded.

I got a chicken Philly, it had more cheese and bread than anything. There was barley any meat in it. The service and staff were great. It was just the sandwich that makes this review so

This guy in this photo claims that he is the owner of Charleys. He said he has four other establishments and he gave me and my mom a refund because all I did was to politely ask him. Can you please put on some gloves when you’re handling the food he proceeded to tell me he doesn’t have to do anything he is the owner he’s not a manager. All the employees were confused about why he was becoming so irate horrible experience

Can’t believe how bad this place was don’t know if its because its in a mall or whatever but man was this the longest i had to wait for 2 combos. So the old school is just a regular philly with no vegetables, no extra meat, and a nacho cheese spread which was overwhelmingly salty. The meat looks and tastes like it was microwaved, i can guarantee they dont grill it like they should it comes out so dry. And the small fries cup fits in a “large” fries container, that alone should tell you your getting scammed. If you are ready to be immeasurably disappointed than this is the place for you.
