Fantastic food, nice staff members, regularly fantastic vibes. They charge fair pricing and the food quality is excellent. Great work.

This food court is bad...this spot always has the most people in line but I am not a fan of the food. It is not Panda Express. The chow mein and chicken were meh, the tofu was the best part.

Low quality "mall" food. Everything was tasteless except for the chow mein which had way too much Soy sauce. The white rice was undercooked. Only giving it 2 stars because of the service

I'm being nice giving them two stars . Over priced for what you get . Lots of rice , but skimpy on the meat . The rice was bland and barely warm . The orange chicken not much better . Half of it was too hard to eat . I ended up throwing it away and buying a sandwich at Charlies Steaks .

Terrible customer service. After shopping at southland, with my daughters they wanted to get some Chinese food. They assumed, like anyone would that they were getting quality food. The food was burned when they got it and wasn't all that tasty(I tried it myself). We went to ask for a refund and the guy said that he gets charged every time he opens his cash drawer! That makes no sense!! He was just making up excuses so he could keep his money. I honestly believe that he probably boot their food back to be sold again. I wouldn't eat here. Panda Express is across the street(I'm not even a big fan of their restaurant) OR one of the MANY other options in the mall(:. It was a waste of money and the service is bad. The food was nasty too.

I wish the broccoli was steamed thoroughly, but I do realize it's fast food Chinese at the mall. It works if you're hungry lol

Blech $9.99 down the drain (I'm a stickler for accuracy). It's hard to believe that I gave this kiosk 4 stars in 2011 (it has especially gone downhill in recent months). It's also hard to believe how popular it still is. My wife and I ordered from here yesterday. The woman ahead of us prevented us from paying together (she was so slow because she was ordering for 3 others too). There were 2 server/cashiers. (I hate ordering from here when there's a line. Without fail, the people behind me will totally ride my a*** I darted away from the woman behind me yesterday as soon as I got the chance.) The Fried Rice was dark brown. It looked a little old and sickly, and so of course I asked for some. o_O The Chow Mein didn't look much better (my wife didn't want any, which is saying something). The noodles were very thin. They were also bright, like they had been out in the sun too long. I initially wanted to order a 3 Item Combo, but I couldn't find 3 items worth ordering. Some trays were almost empty, and a number of items looked ambiguous or like they had given up hope. Note: All prices include tax. Bottled Water (Crystal Geyser): $1.86. Medium Soda: $1.86. Large Soda: $2.08. 2 Item Combo with Fried Rice or Chow Mein: $8.13. 3 Item Combo with Fried Rice or Chow Mein: $9.23. My server/cashier has worked here for a number of months. I give him credit for being friendly and quick (he was so quick that I wasn't quite ready to pay). He was also thorough (he made sure to ask me if I wanted any hot sauce or soy sauce). The containers are sealed well. My wife and I had a hard time opening ours (I came close to returning to the counter). The napkins are small and cheap, but at least you're given a fair amount. The straws here are about as thin as my sanity when I lose at bingo (I have to meet my quota of jokes). It doesn't really seem like medium sodas are 22 oz. I quickly regretted not ordering a large (they're 32 oz.). (I was partly miffed because I almost never order Coke.) B.B.Q. Pork: 6/10. I was a fan before, but my pieces yesterday tasted like they had been overly glazed with the "sweet Chinese barbecue sauce." They were meaty, but just barely edible. I was surprised and disappointed. Mandarin Chicken: 7.5/10. I received a solid serving, but my pieces were somewhat burnt and fatty. They were fine in terms of taste, but nothing to write home about. My wife lightly regretted ordering from here too (she had Fried Rice, but I don't know what else). She basically said that she forgot how the food is. Anyway, hers at least looked better than mine. If my food had a conscience, it would have enrolled itself in witness protection. "Check out our Party Tray at www.chinese-gourmet-express.com": My wife laughed at the idea of this place catering. Unless I hated the guests or wanted a demotion, I would never hire them to cater an event either. A sign indicates that there's a job opening for a "Counter and Kitchen Helper." Um, I think I'll pass. I was upset after my meal (I wasn't satisfied or full). The only good thing is that I quickly got some frozen yogurt at Tutti Frutti (the customers there will ride your a** too). I think my wife and I will avoid this kiosk in the future.

really crappy chow mein noodles, really low quality looking entrees, and they did not understand a single thing I said without me gesturing, which I used after 4 times of misunderstanding.

I would have to agree w/ Alex H. that this place is better than Panda, but it's still fast food Chinese...at the mall. This place suffices when you're in the mood, but I don't get excited when I think of Chinese food and going to the mall for it. I'd rather get Tip Thai right next to it and get fresh, made to order noodles. Luckily, when they handed out the sample, it was freshly made orange chicken w/ it having its crunch still and that sold me. You know how it is when things like that sit...it gets all soft and I like the crunch of those kinds of dishes. Plus, I was in the mood for tofu so I got the eggplant tofu dish, which wasn't that bad. Would I eat here again? Sure, if I'm in the area (for work) and I happen to be in the mood for Chinese. But will I be dreaming of this place at night and craving it? No. Everytime I eat Panda, I get a stomach ache big time. At least here, I didn't get one so that's a big plus.
