While most of the employees are really doing their jobs, old lady with gray hair and Thai lady working as cashiers behave very rudely to customers. They mind hate their jobs so much that they yell at customers and toss items on the belt. Customer service isn't for everyone who always has an attitude.

This is to the lady working the food court with no name tag. Saturdays are busy, but when other pick up lanes are going through 3 guests orders while you're still working so slow on one ticket , you need to get SWITCHED OUT. Your managers need to tell you to go on your break, and if YOU are a "manager" trying to "help" out, then don't. Go sit in the office where you can type 10wpm at your speed. Don't be sorry, do better.

Looking for a battery for your car? On-line listings say you need to contact the warehouse for availability? Don't want to have to drive there only to find out they don't have it? Forget about it. Costco won't answer the phone, or if they do, they'll put you on hold until your patience runs out. Buy your battery somewhere else.

I was at the Costco warehouse today on Hesperian Blvd. and somehow I lost my Apple watch in the warehouse. I back tracked all my steps and didn't see it. I went to Lost & Found and of course no one had turned it in. While in a panic I called my daughter and she reminded me about the "Find My" app on my phone. I opened the app and flagged down one of the employees and explained the situation. She stayed with me while we were trying to figure out where the watch was. It showed that it was still in the warehouse and we pinged it and still couldn't located it. After staying with me for quite awhile another employee walked towards us with the watch and stated that someone turned it in and found it out in the parking lot. Anyway long story short, I can't THANK THE EMPLOYEES AT COSTCO for going above and beyond to help me. I wish I had the person name that was helping me but with all the excitement I forgot to get it. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Rude butcher, Roast chicken was too salty, not enough employees working every one look like they are unhappy.

Best return policy ever in all the retail industry. I love the taste test part especially in weekends. A lot of new items each month.

They have it all and a gas station. The layout of the store is a little different than usual, Some items are oddly placed. The front entrance clerks can be a little over the top yet they are keen on preventing shoplifting. More Hispanic options and less vegan as compared to the Fremont Costco. Please partner with Tesla and install chargers in the further part of the parking lots or provide at cost charging options for memebers.

By far one of the better layouts of Costco, but as for employees they're a*** Actually not employees, just one in particular. We usually go to a different Costco and we were around the area so we went to this location. Looks really nice, everything is spaced out. No complaints there! We went to self check out, mind you SELF Checkout. A lady, scanned EVERYTHING for us and would not leave our side until everything was paid for, we proceeded to pay for the groceries and she hovers over us and tells us "I need to see your ID" as if we were stealing the groceries. We explained we go shopping for a family member who cannot physically go out and she expressed multiple times we were committing fraud and she grabbed the card from my hand and started yelling for a supervisor after the transaction already had went through. Mind you, she did not do this to everyone, literally she had targeted us for some reason. The person before us was all laughs and giggles and after the whole situation she did not check anyone Costco cards and their ID's on the cards. After spending 10-15 pointless minutes, we're wondering why the hell it's taking this long to void this out and re-bill us. We simply ask the question, have you used your parts card? Or someone's else's card before at a store?" And they both stayed quiet then the super visor whispered to the ogres ear "just leave and walk away" and he (Jonathon) told us we can leave and they voided our void. The whole situation was ridiculous, embarrassing and a waste of time. I ain't the one to be an a** and write and whole a** review, but this Karen got me heated. We both felt targeted and humiliated, nothing was done to address the situation. Self check out 10/30/2023 - closest to the restrooms between times 10am - 11:00am.

The service at membership counters is bad . I was there for 10 minutes without anyone offering help and instead I let them know that I need help.

One of my favorite Costcos in the Bay Area by far when it comes to layout. The gas station is fast and optimally designed, and the warehouse feels much more spacious and organized compared to other locations. But what the heck is up with the employees here aggressively trying to get you to upgrade your membership?? I had my Costco credit card snatched out of my hand by an employee, who told me that I should really really REALLY upgrade my membership for the "additional benefits". I said no thanks I'm good, but she refused to take no for an answer and told me to walk with her to some computer on the other side of the store. I said no it's okay but she just ignored me and walked away with my card, so I had no choice but to chase after her. I was then dog piled and surrounded by like 5 additional employees who all joined in to desperately convince me to upgrade my membership, saying that I could be saving so much more money and that I "need to do it today". Talk about CREEPY. It honestly seemed like these guys were being forced against their will or had their families tied up in the back or something. In retrospect, I really should've asked them to blink twice if they needed help. After firmly telling them NO for the hundredth and final time and taking my card back, the employees looked really upset and switched to throwing me dirty looks and stanky attitudes. Huh.. super immature and cringy, but whatever, at least I was finally free to go. Idk what the management at this Costco is doing to its employees to make them act like this.. but jeepers creepers, how mindblowingly uncomfortable and annoying of a situation this was! Quit harassing your customers!

Crazy busy on a Saturday, I should have known better than to come on a weekend. But we were in the area and wanted to check out this location.Quality/Quantity - Good and consistent.Very decent liquor selection, see picture.Atmosphere - First location where I have seen a nursing mothers room, see picture. Cool.Good size food court and good size seating.Other departments - Gas station, tire center, pharmacy, optical, etcOpen 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm or 8:30pm. Service - Also a training store for the new Newark location that will be opening soon. So plenty of team members today.Price - Always a good value! Came to "window-shop" and spent $300+...Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success at this location since 2009. I know you built this when your other location was just for businesses. Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. Now you are the 5th largest retailer in the world and #10 on the Fortune 500. 804 warehouses worldwide, with 558 in the US.1980 IPO.1993 Price Club and Costco merger.1997 Rebrand all locations to Costco.2020 105.5 million members.

The new durian ice cream is awesome! It's so rich and creamy, and exactly like the real fresh durians. Durian lovers will definitely be crazy about it. The tomahawk steak is also fantastic. This Costco is a little bit less crowded than other locations. But one of the customer service staff is always not being nice. Especially when you return something, she always asks a lot of questions and shows an unsatisfied and judging attitude. As a loyal customer of Costco, I spend thousands of dollars every year here and I believe it's my right and freedom to return some products that I don't like. It's like nothing compared to what I pay in here and I don't think that I deserve such attitude.

They have a large selection plus I love the samples they give out which allows me to try things I never would have thought of eating before. The prices are good and the return policy is great - except there is often a long line at the return counter. The store is clean.

I have been working long hours and usually send my 24 year old daughter to shop for me. She went to the self check out. The self check out short staff guy to asks if she needed help, she said no but he continues to scan the costco card and tells her I needed to be present. I honestly never had this issue before. She leaves. Once I got off work I go back with her just before they close, he notices my daughter just for that short guy to radio his short boss. The boss comes over and asks me if I'm a gold member or executive? And asks for my card. I show my card. He continues to act as if he's checking members cards today but walks away without checking anyone else's. I've been living here and coming here for the past 19 years. I spend a good amount of money at this place every month and this just felt embarrassing and unnecessary.
