“Adorable little home bakery with pickups in HaHa Ramen & Sushi restaurant located in downtown Hayward. My cousin ordered this amazingly cute birthday cake for our grandma and asked me to pick it up. She had contacted the baker via WeChat and was able to request a customized design on their taro flavor cake. My cousin used a popular design style from China for their reference and they were able to replicate it pretty accurately! The cake came ribbon wrapped in a clear cake box - presentation was through the roof great! For the cake itself, it was 3 stars for flavor and texture and +1 for design. It wasn't too sweet (which is the Asian standard) and the cake part itself was fragrant and fluffy. The taro cream was light and subtle. Would have liked to tasted more taro-ness but that might be because the baker uses fresh, natural ingredients instead of artificial flavors - which is appreciated. They also offer creme puffs and drinks as well but hours may vary from what's posted because when I went for pickup (2:30pm on a Sunday) the baker themselves weren't there and only the sushi restaurant staff were present. Double check you have the right order before you leave in these scenarios because I was given the wrong order by the restaurant staff. I just said I was picking up a cake and was handed another person's order - I had mistakenly assumed there was only 1 cake order that's why they didn't ask me for the name or what was ordered. Only when I took a picture for my cousin to let her know I picked up the cake did I find out I got the wrong order. Good thing I lived close enough to quickly swing back. Street parking in front of the restaurant is sparse but I didn't have trouble finding a spot on the block.Overall, a great home bakery that offers cute cake designs on this side of the East Bay!“

“Sunny Sips & Sweet Moments at Duet Tea!
Today I stopped by Duet Tea @ 39230 Argonaut Way, Fremont, CA and treated myself to an Icy Fresh Lemonade for just $2.99 (+ tax, total $3.30) — the perfect refreshment for this hot Wednesday! Not too sweet, just right!
The sunshine, the kind and helpful staff, and the joy on my little girl’s face when she got her cute stickers made this moment even more special.
Grateful for these simple joys.
☀️ Lemonade + Smiles = A good day!

“After a very disappointing Dinner in SF STK, I wanted Desert but not at STK. The last thing I wanted was to sit there and act like my meal was wonderful.Searched for a good Desert restaurant late in the evening I found T’s. NOTHING DISAPPOINTING ABOUT THIS PLACE. 10 minute wait and the Best desert was delivered in my hands. The waffle made to order was fresh hot alone with my Cold topping was amazing. I will definitely have to make another trip and visit to T’s. From Portland Oregon to T’s a must.
All Orders are made to Go.“

“I've been going to Snow Bowl when it was MandRo Teahouse and when it was only one store in Fremont so when my friends invited us for shaved ice I was pleasantly surprised it's a new branch in the Tri Valley area. Nothing more to talk about as it's my favorite place for shaved ice whenever I have a chance in the East Bay. They changed their name which is smart because it's the shaved ice that sets them apart not the tea.
Even though it's using Bingsoo (which is Korean shaved ice) I'm fairly certain it's actually Chinese but who cares when it tastes good.
The plaza is big but it's right next to the McDonald's if you have a hard time finding it. Seating is somewhat limited and I think for shaved ice it's better to eat there rather than taking it to go. Service is good enough even if it's usually just one person. Tip is optional which is good. You order through a kiosk.
My favorite is the matcha or the original milk but mango is popular among kids.“

“Overall taste has been amazing, some not so good, but we're on week 4 of trying the cookies and so far tres leches and chocolate cookie and cream and the skillet cookie have been delish, as for customer service not so great, the girl was very rude when asked if they had spoons for the tres leches cake, other locations do have them but this location just seems they hate their jobs🤦♀️“

“Service was fast and friendly. It was very clean and safe inside. The lime ice cream was yummy, right amount of sweet and tart flavor. My husband loved the Uchepos too but didn’t get pics of either because they ate too fast. I got the fresas con crema and added mango to it and it was sooo good.“

“We hired Oscar one week before our event on 7/13/24 and he did not disappoint. His churros were delicious, flaky on the outside and nice and doughy on the inside. Even 4 hours later, the churros were still fresh and delicious. All of our party guests took goodie bags home from him. I will definitely look to hire him again for our next event. Thank you, Oscar!!!“
