The cake was overpriced and decorated a bit poorly. It’s clear they put minimal effort into this cake. They used canned peaches and even forgot to finish the decoration. There was a gap where someone carelessly forgot to add one of the oreos. And it was $70 to boot. You’d be better off buying a cake elsewhere.

I can't say enough good things about Don Polvoron Bakery. Their cakes are absolutely delicious and always beautifully decorated. While I've only ordered a few times, every experience has exceeded my expectations. The freshness and exquisite taste of their cakes truly stands out.
At every party, my guests rave about how amazing the cakes taste and often come back for seconds. Over the past few months I've ordered tres leches cake for my daughter's 21st birthday, a marble cake for my granddaughter's birthday and a strawberry cake for my daughter's 17th birthday. I'm not a big fan of strawberry cake, but I was blown away by how delicious theirs was.
I'm already planning to order another cake for my grandson's birthday. I highly recommend Don Polvoron Bakery to anyone looking for outstanding cakes.

First off, George is great! After rescheduling an order in march to september, we were able to change dates with no issues or extra fees. George almost perfectly replicated our vision from a google image to the cake we hoped for! Flavor wise, nothing was lacking. Thank you for working with us and we will be coming back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all five stars! Visiting friends from Hayward Highland and were recommended this breakfast place. They are now better friends because of this ? along with having delicious bread that made for a delicious dessert after also taking the tortas de jamón to go.

I ordered a heart cake and paid $160 for a cake for 30 people. I picked up the cake and this is what they handed me. A very poorly made cake. The "venti uno" in the middle of the cake is crooked. The little golden balls are crooked and don't even have a heart shape. I told the two ladies who were running the bakery that the cake was poorly made. They took the cake to the back and there were two more ladies in the back arranging cakes and decorating because I saw them when the doors opened. The lady who took the cake comes out with the cake and tells me that nothing can be done because the lady who made the cake has already left. They give expensive cakes and they give them poorly made ones. I asked for strawberries and they didn't even have strawberries, the strawberries were cut into very small strips, it was more whip cream filling than anything. The lady I ordered the cake (margarita) with made me pay for it in full when I ordered it because they say that sometimes people don't pick it up but in reality I think that people don't take the cake because it is poorly made. He didn't even say that he would give me a discount or at least that he would put some flowers or something so that he wouldn't look bad. He simply told me that nothing could be done. Someone who knows about baking would not have given me this and fixed it for me even if it had taken time, the customer service was terrible. I hope the owner sees this and gives jobs to people who know how to bake or at least teach them well.
