Kyoto iced coffee. Best iced coffee, ever ever. Their coffee is strong and flavorful, with no bitterness. The line at this location is pretty ridiculous, but all the baristas will quickly serve to please when you finally get to the freaking bar. They're very quick, efficient, and friendly, even while looking like they all jumped straight out of an American Apparel catalog.
It's more beautiful on the inside. Unfortunately this gem is located in a very blighted part of the city. I did not feel safe walking outside due to the boarded up buildings and other questionable characters outside. However inside it feels safe and "dainty" with a character and charm welcoming to a Victorian tea party fit for any high society. It would be five stars however it loses one for the location surroundings and loses another because I was in constant fear...
Took a friend here for a birthday surprise. It was a quaint, elegant place. They didn't get the reservation I attempted to make but still managed to fit my friend and me in. The decor is beautiful including the fountain and the bone china on the table. My only drawback was the lack of staff (I know the place is small but there is no excuse for having only two full-time servers. One was sick the day we went which made the wait for everything extra long) and don't try...
