The curry is soooo good! Best I have ever had. They veganize this for you and the staff is so loving and kind. We are vegan & this is my favourite japanese in thr bay area. Their mango sake is another fave! Must go here. Simple, lowkey delicious food :)

The ramen with beef was good, and the portion size was generous. Overall, not a bad choice for those who enjoy ramen.

I love this place, portions are very generous and the prices are very fair, I have been here several times with different friend and by myself and the service and food are always great. Spicy edamame was delicious, all the ramen are great but specially the miso with beef rib, 49er roll was fresh and very yummy. My only complaint is that it tents to be kind of loud in there so do keep that in mind.

Didn't receive part of our order, asked for any kind of assistance in replacing or contacting the driver (ordered through their site), only to be told that they ensured the order was correct on their end. This isn't the first time I've had issues ordering from this establishment, last time they made me come pick up my order, and the food simply isn't worth the hassle that they create.

This little place was open later than others, so my bestie and I decided to stop by and get some ramen. It was so cute and the service was super fast and friendly. The ramen is so unbelievably delicious and the sushi is fresh. When they had forgotten to add something to our ramens, they brought it out later and even brought a plate of fresh mango for the inconvenience. Cutest little hole-in-the-wall and the chef(s) care so much about the quality of the food and overall happiness of the customers. I have gone back and I intend to for a long time. I love introducing this place to people who have never been, they always love it. :)

We ordered the (4.5/5) Edamame with Spicy Garlic, (2/5) Tonkotsu Ramen, and the (3.5/5) Miso Ramen. The edamame was REALLY GOOD. Probably one of the best edamame appetizers I have had ever. The amount of flavor that was in the edamame, I was pretty shocked. Definitely recommend trying this out!The Tonkotsu ramen was pretty disappointing to me, the soup base lacked flavor and the meat did not taste that good. The Miso ramen was much better than the Tonkotsu, the soup was flavorful and it had a nice savory taste to it. I also loved the addition of corn with it. The server was very friendly and the place is a small hole in the wall. Not too many people were there when we came in, but it is located in the Mission area and is in a very nice area!

Expectation vs reality. We were the first customers to go in 11:00am. It's currently 11:40am and I just now got this Crystal shrimp roll that I ordered. 40mins. 40mins to make this. If I could give 0 starts, I would've. But it won't let me post it unless I give a star.

1. Restaurant furnishings are tired. 2. General housekeeping was poor. 3. Was served sushi roll with mushy/soggy rice. 4. Ramen had refrigerator cold bamboo shoots and boiled egg. When this was mentioned to the server, she stated, "But the broth is hot, right". Two stars is generous. $28.24 for two substandard menu items. Very sad.

Stuffed Mushroom was really good. Everything else was ok. I found a hair in the sunny roll which they took off my bill. We sat for a table of 2 and order about $65 of food and they added an $11 tip on our check. Overall I'm not coming back.

I drove by this place on my way to the Japanese gardens and could not get it out of my head. On my way back I decided to stop in, roughly around 1:00pm and it was empty. But it was quaint, and I was DECIDED I was going to have a big bowl of ramen. The waitress was so freaking nice, and attentive. I can't say a single bad thing about her, she perfectly packaged some items to go as I was ordering both dine in and to go. I had the spicy garlic ramen and the bowl was bigger than my head! It wasn't super spicy, just right. The prices were definitely acceptable for California and I ordered a ramen, 8 pieces of sashimi, gyozas, a special roll and soda and it was roughly $55.I would definitely give this place a try if you're in the area!
