My niece and I had lunch here. We ordered the da dubs grease plate and the lady dubs special with hang ten original sauce. The sauce was flavorful and spicy and went well with the rice. The fried seafood was nicely seasoned and fresh. I would like to try again and try either the Stephen curry sauce or garlic sauce.

This place looks huge from the outside with its own entrance at Southland mall. Wanted to return their Cajun seafood but noticed they offer Hawaiian specialty dishes and had to give it a try. The loco Moco was good but not as great at Lilihas in Waikiki. The garlic shrimp was actually very tasty and reminded me of Giovanni's shrimp truck. Pricing was very reasonable for the portion size. I would only complain about the plastic utensils which made it difficult to cut and eat serve.

Great food per usual but I personally prefer the one in Alameda for the atmosphere but for fast service cuz most of the time it’s empty then come here..

We love hang ten! We came here years ago when they were at the first location and they've been serving good food. Occasionally at both locations I do get the mushy shrimp tho and I'm not sure why, but the hang ten sauce shrimp is our go to! The lady dubs is also a favorite of ours bc of the variety. Love how I don't have to go as far as alameda now to grab some hang ten. Only wish that the hayward location accepted Fivestars like the alameda location. Of note is that the guy who took care of my phone order was FABULOUS! I felt bad I didn't get his name, (he maybe looked Asian/Filipino?) but he absolutely was one of the best take out persons I've ever had anywhere. He anticipated every need we had by already including gloves, bibs, lemon and pepper...and he even offered to give us some table paper for home so we wouldn't get everything all messy! Amazing! Guessing he may have also been a waiter at this location to know what to give us. Service is very quick and we've never had to wait more than 10 mins or so for them to complete a phone orderAlso love how they have take out specials every now and then. Make sure to follow them on IG to stay up to date on their specials :).

No words, just noms & lots of leftovers. ? Garlic noodles, lava chicken with sweet potato fries, kahlua pork with corn & mac salad. It's a casual restaurant, with boils available as well.Parking: Outside a mall, so plenty of parking.

One of my fav seafood boil spots. If you're not a seafood fan, they also have Hawaiian rice place which is always a plus.

7 years later and Hang Ten is still my favorite.Like many others, I was counting down the days and patiently waiting for this Hayward location to open up again after they moved from one part of Southland Mall to where it is now. Since it opened again, I have been back soooo many times!Nowadays, I mostly order online for pick up and haven't had any issues. The food is typically ready in 20-30 minutes which gives me enough time to head over. My go to order that never fails: shrimp hang ten medium and garlic noodles. I still standby my last review and think they've got the best garlic noodles in the bay! The hang ten medium spice is just spicy enough but when I do want that extra kick I'll go for the spicy. Word of warning though: their spice levels do tend to be spicier than other places.Other plates I've enjoyed: cajun fries (get the H10 Aioli to dip!), parathe flat bread, spam musubi, and when I'm trying to save a little, I'll just buy their liquid gold and make shrimp at home. They're having awesome deals for January right now so def check it out ASAP! Happy 10 years Hang Ten!P.S. Bonus points if you can find the box with "Sen + Jessica" on the wall - that's me! :)

Outstanding isn't the word to describe how amazing this place is! This was my first time visiting with my grandmother, a previous visitor, and we loved it. As soon as we came in, the waitress kindly greeted us and made us feel welcome. The food came within 10-15 minutes and we ordered two meals and spam musubi. Drinks came with paper straws and ice! I have no words to describe how the food tasted other than great. There was plenty of space for big and small parties. Area was clean and tidy. The waitress was also extremely nice and sweet.10/10 recommend!!

I'll start by saying the food is great and very tasty. I usually get the shrimp Cajun spicy with a side of garlic noodles, my husband gets the kalbi short ribs with rice and Mac salad. The price is on the high end as we end up paying around $60 to $70 for a meal for two, granted we get different things, but that's basically around $30/$35 per person. Also, the price for adding corn is excessive considering it is a corn piece and not a whole corn. Because of the prices we limit ourselves to how often we eat here. The service is not always the same, it can be hit or miss. We have tried to place take-out orders over the phone with at least 40 mins left before closing and we were told they were no longer taking take-out orders over the phone, but we could come in and place our order in person. Logistically and time wise that makes no sense and defeats the point of placing the order in advance. They have also messed up our take-out order in the past, but the person who helped us was apologetic and accommodating to make up for it which we greatly appreciated.

2nd time coming here. Loved it! I brought my daughter this time. It was her 1st time here. Had the best dinner with the best company. From start to finish 5 stars. The host and the servers were very attentive. We were greeted and seated immediately. They helped us order. Everything on the menu is delicious. We ordered garlic fries, garlic noodles, and the Auntie Nancy's combo with medium heat Cajun spice. We left there so happy with everything. Can't wait to come back. You should definitely stop by. You won't be disappointed.

They have the best garlic noodles and they were so addicting! The BBQ chicken plate was also very yummy!

The food was well prepared and seasoned to my liking. We tried the catfish, Lumpia, and Northshore Garlic Shrimp. #do-over

The flavor is good and the service is wonderful However, our dungeness crab was dryer than jerky on the legs that made it inedible They made a few mistakes in our orders but were quick to fix it Would definitely eat at again

The service was great. Our server suggested the popular dishes so we of course opted for those plates. The ambiance is chill and laid back. The only downside is not all prices are listed on the menu so it will be a surprise when you get the bill. Still bomb though.

When we arrived, this cute sweet host came up and told us about the dine in policy with surcharge of 10%. I mean, it's NEVER a good feeling to be charged a surcharge for ANYTHING. But we agreed to it and was seated. First off, we must say that our waiter was the best, she was sweet, friendly and made sure she gave us the information we asked for. 5 stars and triple kudos to her = service with a smile. We ordered: :} Northshore garlic shrimp plate - this came with mac salad and corn on a cob. It came out hot and the shrimps looked plumped and it tasted OK but it definitely didn't replicate the true Northshore garlic shrimps from Oahu. Maybe more garlic?? Not sure what its missing because it looked exactly like Oahu's garlics. Good try though. 3.5 STARS :} Garlic noodles - we ordered a small and it was just enough for 2 people. Very tasty and I enjoyed it. 4 STARS :D Da appetizer - we picked the fish as an appetizer. We were actually blown away by the crispy exterior made with cornmeal and the flakey inside was extremely moist! I can eat this one over and over again! Loved it. 5 STARS It's a good establishment to have in rusty Hayward for hungry Yelpers that need their Hawaiian fix. So, I give this place a thumbs up. However, I have to say, Southland mall is sad sad sad. Hopefully, this business will bring people in. NOTES: Loads of parking. Watch out for broken glass windows. Be aware of your surroundings! Thank you for reading my review.
